Saved a ton of money!!
My refrigerator froze up. I read online that this clip was probably the problem. My brother and I emptied the refrigerator and replaced this part. The original was smaller, clearly a planned design flaw. The replacement part has been fantastic! It's worked like a charm. No repair man needed. No new refrigerator needed.

The Component That Samsung Failed to install Originally, Now You Can Do It
I'm still scratching my head about why this wasn't standard as component of the Samsung refrigerator, but it wasn't. After clearing the ice blockage in the refrigerator drain, the installation is very straightforward. There are a bunch of YouTube videos on the fix. This part works great.

DIY Fridge Repair
Product replaced OEM part that wasn’t performing correctly. Easy install and is keeping defrost tube from freezing up. Highly recommend this part if you are having water accumulate in your crisper drawers on a Samsung Refrigerator. YouTube has step-by-step instructions on installation.

Difficult to install but works great
As I said, very difficult to install; there's probably a trick to it known by appliance techs but withheld from DIY folks like myself. But the tab is much longer than the factory clip and extends down into the drain, helping defrost the drain. A frozen drain is no fun!

It solved the problem
It would have been nice if Samsung could have designed a refrigerator that didn't fill the produce drawers with water and require a repair, but at least the fix is simple. I had to bend the clip a bit to get it to fit properly in place, but this was very easy to do without damaging it. No more water in the produce drawers and the refrigerator runs so much quieter now without all of the ice buildup. I do recommend doing your repair BEFORE a grocery trip and letting your fridge thaw for several hours before starting it back up to ensure all of the collected ice is fully melted. You can help it along with a hair dryer, of course, but use caution not to overheat important components.

Samsung Sucks
Like most of you I am fed up with Samsung's worthless junk of a fridge (French door RF261BEAESR/AA). Didn't notice the water issue under the drawer until two years after I purchased it. So much water built up I had to use a shop vac to suck the water out. Samsung was worthless to talk too and offered no help for the defective problem that is 100% a design error. For the past year I have had to defrost the fridge multiple times because of this issue. The last time I did it I placed two pieces of copper wiring down the drain hole, tied next to the original evaporator clip. It seemed to work for a couple of months and I stopped paying attention because I had thought the problem was solved. Nope, after about 1-2 more months went by, my drawer was sticking because of the water build up returning and the water freezing (first time I had seen the water freeze). I purchased this clip and it was very easy to install. I waited approximately 18 hours (before turning back on) for the fridge to fully defrost and until I observed the water I poured down the drain hole make its way all the way down the drain. Because of the amount of surface area this clip has, I am sure it will work better then the copper wiring, however I am also pretty certain this is a band-aid and the problem will resurface at any time. I'll update if/when the problem occurs again. UPDATE: 7/1/18; Clip has been installed for approximately 4 months now. No problem yet, but when the problem returns its usually close to this time. I will update if the leak begins. Samsung still sucks. UPDATE: 7/16/18; Water has returned as I suspected at this point in the time frame. Samsung sucks, do not buy there crappy products or you will regret it.
