Great value & very functional
I bought this because it was the only single serve blender with a glass to drink from (vs plastic. My only concern was other reviews about the mason jar not being tempered glass so it was easy to break. But, I thought I'd be careful; it's a great price; AND its power is equal to the higher end options. I'm 5 months into using this almost weekly and it's fantastic! I highly recommend it. Zero problems with mason jar and have even dropped it in the sink by accident a couple times with no issue. I don't have a lot of counter space so I love that it's very portable. It's easy to use and attractive! Overall, great value.

Yes, it is a blender
I liked this blender because I saw an operation on a Facebook real. It was cute. It was functional. So I bought it. I used it for a few days then the blending cup got stuck in the blender itself and would not let me remove it. This is a serious thing because there are some serious blades on that blender. So I returned it and they promptly sent me another one. I used it for a while and it worked very nicely. For a while. then, I was able to get the blending jar out of the blender only by turning everything upside down and unscrewing the blender from the jar. The actual blade mechanism would not release itself from the jar. I figured it would eventually loosen up and come out but it didn’t . The only way I could actually get the jar separated from the blender was to turn everything upside down, swivel the blender off of the jar, leaving the very sharp blades screwed into the blender. Because I had initially liked this blender so much I spent a week using it that way turning it upside down on the counter and screwing the blender off of the jar instead of the jar off of the blender. I tried a number of things to get the blending blades out of the blender and ending up with a couple of cuts on my hands. As much as I hate to do this I am throwing this blender away in the trash to be picked up on Thursday. I am sad and mad but mostly sad.

Pretty cool blender
Truly like it:- small unit, takes (very) little space- powerful blender, makes sauces, smoothies, soups, iced drinks- no need to transfer to another container, ready to go- easiest to keep cleanAll the users of this on YouTube are skinny, by the way.

Disappointed in the performance
I like the vintage look, though the base is a little larger and heavier that most small blenders. I also like the glass container, though the shape is not as easy to clean out as it could be. I am a little disappointed in its performance. I had a Magic Bullet that was rated at 250 W. This blender was rated at 300 W, so I expected a little more--just a little. However, if I were to go just by subjective impression, I would say that the Frigidaire is slightly less powerful than my old Magic Bullet. The rotation of the blades seems slower. It can't handle quite as much. It doesn't get some things ground up quite as finely. Still does OK, though, for most things.

Use it every day
Looks awesome and works better than I thought. It’s not a professional blender by any means, but it makes a killer smoothie

Broken Levr
Right out of the gate, the blender was awesome. Lots of power, great mixing ability which translates to a tasty smoothie. However, 10 months later (approx 30 uses of the smoothie), the lever just stopped working (I'm assuming that some internal part just broke). No problem as I bought the extended warranty .... or so I thought.1. I called Asurion (3rd party warranty company) who politely told me to call Frididaire as the blender was still under their warranty.2. I then called the 1-800 number (Frididaire) provided by Asurion tech support. The friendly Frididaire rep then instructed me to call a differ 800 number (Curtis) for this particular model number.3. I called this 1-800 number (Curtis) and waited for an hour only to be provided a form to fill out and sent back in.Okay, so at this point I'm thinking.... pay the warranty money at time of purchase and heaven forbid that you actually need to use this warranty. Expect oneself to call many 1-800 numbers, jump through hoops as necessary and set aside an hour (or two) out of your day for this product protection. The plan appears to make the consumer wait on the phone so much that they will kindly drop off the planet due to frustration.

Does not have a lot of power....forget blending anything frozen! SENT BACK
The media could not be loaded. I use this to puree softer foods, & it can do that but even still, I get a grainy mixture? I can't imagine this chopping ice or anything frozen/hard without it taking forever or even breaking? I contemplated sending it back, but I do love the fact it's got a glass carafe & not plastic. Actually the was the deciding factor for me ordering this, bc it's very difficult to find a smaller, personal blender that isn't made of plastic.I do wish it was more powerful, then it would be perfect, but it just lacks any oomph whatsoever.I hope in the future more companies will go towards a glass carafe for the smaller, personal sized blenders, but until then, there aren't really a whole lots of options & I'm stuck with this cute, but very lackluster blender.EDIT *6/7Sent it back! Glass was breaking off at the rim & I have no idea if I was consuming said glass. So upsetting, but again the fact this blender has zero blending power & the rim of the glass jar was breaking off is not a good look for this company.

Great for Single Smoothie
Got this for my husband for B-Day gift. He makes a smoothie almost every morning and our full size blender was a little much! Blends quickly and not crazy loud. So far so good! Make sure to add enough liquids. Very easy and quick cleaning. And because it's small and cute looking I don't mind it staying on the counter all the time.
