1.5 Inch Fanny Pads - Green Rubber Safety Mats (Set of 2)

We needed some mats to put at the end of our home playground slides to prevent and stop some mud spots that were forming. These mats are a good heavy duty mat for home use, love them. They are a good size for the home playset, not too big or small.I was worried because a lot of people reviewed them as being too hard but they are what I expected like any other mat you find at public parks. It is a compact rubber composite which is hard but has a slight "spring" back if you really push on t with your finger. My 3 year old constantly runs around barefoot and plays on his slides that way and he has not had any problems with the mat; no complaints that it hurts or is any worse than the bare ground.Both of our slides are pretty steep and kids flu down them pretty fast and we've had no problems with the mats shifting. The mat has some "grooves" on the bottom to help it keep grounded on the earth and grass underneath. I did lift up the bottom base of one slide and put one of the mats underneath so that the slide is on top of it to stabilize it more, the other mat just sits right at the bottom of the slide and doesn't slip around.Would definitely buy these again. When my kids are old enough to actually drag their feet under the swings we will definitely come back for another set. The product is pricey but compared to others on the market it is comparable so that's just the cost of this type of item, but the quality on these mats is excellent so you are definitely getting quality for your money.

I ordered these for a backyard play set. I was apprehensive at first because they are so expensive, but decided that I didn’t want to put a price tag on safety. While they seem to be incredibly dense (I honestly struggled getting the box into my yard by myself, they were so heavy), I do wish they were just a bit larger (even six inches). They are under the swing and ladders, but I feel as though a child doesn’t always land straight down. They do seem to absorb impact well at the base of the slide and I did order two more sets.

We bought these to put under our swings and they have solved the problem we were having with mud under the swings. They are great quality and have held up well for several months now! We plan to order more!

These are a must have if you have a swing set! The grass was all worn out and became a sloppy, muddy, gross mess. I ordered these and am super happy. Yes they are expensive but they are a good investment. So glad we went this route and not zoning in the playscape with mulch. My husband can even mow the grass around without moving them. My son enjoys them when he swings—using it as a kick plate instead of pumping.

One more feet in length would be perfect

Finally something for under our slide so our little ones have a cushion at the bottom. Also have them under the swings since our grass isn’t growing well. You don’t even have to move them to mow the grass that do exist because the blades are higher then the mats! I just wish they weren’t so expensive so I could get another set!!!

These pads are great for use under swings on a playground. I use them to keep the mulch from getting dug out under the swings at our home daycare. They work great and seem like they will last a long time.

These mats are perfect for our needs. The area under the kids' swings became so muddy from the kids dragging their feet to stop themselves. I got a mat to go under each swing. They are big enough to cover the entire area needed for my kids to slow themselves down and they are super heavy, so they're not going anywhere. They look good and they seem ultra durable. This has really helped with the mud. I am so happy that I decided to get these.
