Excellent product. The mat cuts are crisp and clean and the backing boards are perfect. I like that the bags are clear and the matted photos fit in them perfectly. One thing to note is that the black mats are not a true black but slightly brown. Not enough of a problem to look else where though. I did have problem with the last order in that there must have been a glitch in the packaging of the clear bags since that order was shorted by two. That is the first time I have not received all 25 bags.

I'm happy with the quality of these mats. I use them to sell my prints. In the large sizes I've notice that the first 1 or two clear slips are heat warped.

My kids compete in a photography competition each year through their school and this set was PERFECT for what we needed. I expected the backing to be more of a foam backing, but it is more like a hard cardboard type of backing (like what a normal backing is on a picture frame) but that’s fine, I’m only mentioning it to let people know it is slightly less thick than a foam backing. It looks great though, is durable; I got a pack of 10 & each has a mat frame, the backing, and a clear bag to slip each one in- PERFECT for transporting competition pieces to and from! You can buy these individually at your local stores, but they will be more expensive and won’t come in a pack of several, and if you go to a store with a framer and have them cut and put your picture inside (even using the same material that these are!) it will cost up to $20-$30 so this is an excellent deal, well worth it! It was all packed up nicely and packed carefully in delivery and was delivered in a timely manner. Will definitely save this for future competitions- and maybe even to mat and frame our own pictures on the walls in our house!

I really love these photo mats and use them regularly for gifting photos at work. The quality and look are great, and they make presenting photos feel extra special. They come with plastic bags, which is a nice touch for keeping everything neat.That said, I wouldn’t expect every single mat to be flawless. About half of ours arrived with small dents in 1-2 corners, and 5 were damaged enough to be unusable without framing. The damage wasn’t due to shipping—the outer box was in great condition—but there wasn’t enough padding inside the box to protect the mats during transit. The plastic bags are convenient, but 2 of them tore even when I opened them gently and carefully.Pros:1) Great quality and appearance2) Perfect for gifting photos3) Comes with handy plastic bagsCons:1) Some mats arrive with dents or damage2) A few plastic bags can tear easilyDespite the imperfections, I’d still buy these again because they offer good value and look fantastic overall.

I was having a romance with my new Epson Copier and ran out practically anything I saw. Anything. While I was pleased with my "art gallery" of the familiar, the odd and the ones I would have to hang in a closet, just taking tap or a push pin to hang them didn't seem....well...good enough. At an arts and crafts shop there were frames but beyond the cost, they varied in quality from ones your grandmother would have used to ones that would have framed photos of "the girls" in a parlour house. Not precisely the sort to display three matadors, one of whom has just missed being emasculated as we can see for his suit of lights is letting in some fresh air. Then I found these. White, looked sturdy, were sold as a kit to frame your finest or your pictures of the family until they go away. And that's another great thing about these, using some photographers tape, the collection can be altered to fit your mood or the weather or who's dropping by. They are sturdy card stock, with a neatly beveled cut in as well as a stiff paper backing and, best of all, a bag to put them in for storage or shipping or just to hang on the wall giving the object to be framed a strange, otherworldly look. Nor are you limited to pictures. I have a nautilus shell that was cut in half and so up it goes, nicely framed.These may seem a trifle pricey but when you've shopped for modestly priced framed you'll find you're looking for either the lost chord or the missing link. Too, this could be covered in fabric, wall covering, painted, decoupaged....handy as a pocket on a shirt or a wall that needed something to perk it up. And here they are! I know I'll be buying more as my romance with my copier is an ongoing thing even though friends have, tactfully, suggested that now that I've covered all the walls in two rooms with pictures, perhaps I might take a pause. And I will. To put them in frames.
