Clas Ohlson 35L Rucksack,Casual Commuter Laptop/Travel/Hiking Backpack Cabin Luggage (Red/Black)

I bought this bag from Clas Ohlson as we purchased the exact same one for my son to go to college with in 2015. His has stood up to the abuse of College and then university and general use and abuse since then. Over 6 years it has had no faults, rips or tears. It has washed 3 times in the machine and come up looking near new each time. He has never been interested or used the headphone pass through, but we tried them to check to see if they had also stood up to the washings, and the did. Worked just fine. I purchased this one for myself after reading reviews of other bags that appear to be of eastern manufacture, but, whilst there are some high scoring bags, they are more expensive and also have some worrying negative reviews from time to time. This one I can attest to and if it only lasts 3 years instead of the 6 and still going that my son's has, I will be very happy with it.

I was delighted to find this online as I needed to replace my old one as the main zip had failed. The build quality is excellent and the straps are well padded and comfortable. Due to the quality of width of strap, padding within and stitching it always carries some of my heavier shopping items. For example 4 pints of milk, drink cartons, potatoes, carrots, margarine etc. It has never let me down in all the years I have had it. Size is perfect for what I need. My last one must be over 10 years old? I bought it in a shop that no longer exists. I hope they will still be available next time I need a replacement!

In my opinion, the Clas Ohlson 35L Rucksack is an excellent replacement for my much loved rucksack which looks almost identical but which is falling apart. I couldn't find my original, but this one was an ideal replacement. The problem I found, buying a replacement, is that they were either really expensive, or too light and some products although described as a rucksack, were more like a fashion accessory. For me finding the right rucksack, was like looking for a needle in a haystack. I believe I have found the right rucksack in this one. It is very well made, and from a reputable manufacturer. It is manages to be both rugged and smart with all the reassuring features, which had proved so essential in my previous rucksack.It was comfortable to carry and wear. solid stitching, smooth zips, and pockets, where you expected them to be. It is also smart and well designed, for those times, when it's important to be smart. You can tell that I am delighted with mine, The only thing I need to mention, is that in my opinion, this is not a laptop bag - there is simply not enough padding. For me, it for all the other bits and pieces, that I carry every day, entrusting to my rucksack, knowing it can carry them safely. This is the right rucksack for me, and I highly recommend it.

I'm amazed at the strength of this rucksack. Been using for a few months now and regularly fill with heavy shopping and it's showing no sign of wear and tear. It has clips at the side to make it look narrower as it is a little wide for my taste. But it is attractive and very sturdy. I also would have preferred a clip at the front to pull the straps together to take the weight off my shoulders when it is very heavy but been using my scarf to pull the straps together which relieves the shoulder pain. But all in all a good purchase.

I bought a similar rucksack from Clas Olsen many years ago which served me well until I left/lost it recently. It was still in great condition and carried many a heavy load. This new one is similar but even better. Small zipped pockets have been added and the two main straps are wider and have more padding making it comfortable even when full.It looks great and is clearly a quality product.

I needed to replace an old rucksack but didn't want anything too expensive. I need it for carrying a 17" laptop and files to work and it's ideal. Comfortable and robust and not too deep when stuffed full!I wasn't sure about it when I took it out the packaging but now that it has been used, it is much better than I anticipated.Little pockets are ideal for keys/phone but the diagonal zips on lower pockets mean I only put tissues/low importance items there.

This is the best quality backpack you'll get at this price range, it's incredible. I've had mine for so many years I can't remember and I've never had any problems at all. The quality is very good and it's extremely sturdy, as well as being very comfortable with the padding it has. It's very spacious as well. Would definitely recommend - you won't regret it. It deserves so many more 5 star reviews. The only reason I bought a new one is to get one for a family member.
