I have been power lifting all my life and this has been the best chalk I have ever used. Every lifter knows to stay away from gyms that don't allow chalk, or stock a cheap chalk that compromises your grip.Every lifter I know now uses this product. I gave it 5 stars because it gave me great grip and didn't dry out my hands like other chalk products I have tried in the past. I would recommended this product to anyone who lifts weights.

Awesome product. Wouldn't recommend anything else now after using it. The smell is awesome, the amount I have to use as well is minimal compared to other lower end product chalk. It helps with grip immensely as well! Will definitely be buying more in the future.

Works well, I use it for deadlifts mostly, It put it in a ziplock bag and just keep it in my gym back, oddly smells good makes everything in my gym bag smell nice and clean.

This chalk is amazing. I needed a couple of days to get use to the feeling of the chalk. I am used to the chunky and thickness of the chalk. When using Primo Chalk, it feels natural. In the beginning, it feels like baby powder, The chalk is effective when holding grip to the barbell. Highly recommend this product.

I'm giving it a 5 star review despite the fact that it did not do what I was hoping because it's obviously very good for most people based on my experience.I have Palmar Hyperhydrosis, which means my hands sweat profusely almost 24/7. This can make working out scary because it complicates keeping grip on things like kettlebells or dumbbells and makes it downright scary. I purchased this product hoping that using chalk would at least act as a band-aid allowing me to get by (at least in the gym) without having to seek out proper treatment. Well, it's just not sufficient for that task.For most people, I highly recommend this product. However, if you have Palmar Hyperhydrosis and think that using chalk, even high quality chalk such as this, will allow you to get through high intensity workouts just like everyone else without having to seek out proper treatment, don't bother. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for proper treatment.

This is my first time using chalk, and I use it for rock climbing. I've discovered I like the loose chalk instead of the ball because I can get more product on my hands and fingertips, and not have to spend a ridiculous amount of time fiddle farting around with the loose chalk. Luckily this brand "ball," is actually a bag that you can open from the top via drawstring. The smell is very subtle with a hint of menthol. I enjoy that the chalk leaves my fingertips and hands tacky enough for climbing, but does not goo up on me like I have heard about other brands. My first impression I thought I would get from a powdered chalk would be a gummy feeling, because my hands sweat especially while climbing, but with Primo Chalk, it was not the case. I'm very satisfied with the chalk! Delivery was also on point which is why I love Amazon so very much.

Good stuff. I have not ripped a callus during a workout since the chalk arrived at my house. The bag is a good size that it fits into my gym pack. For the size of the bag there is plenty of chalk in there. This will last for a long time.

I typically wouldn't review a product negatively that I enjoy and use, but this one is just not described or sold properly. This is essentially a really cheap cotton bag filled with loose chalk. The top isn't secured and the chalk spills everywhere if flipped inside your chalk bag. There is no benefit to buying this over the loose chalk and you end up paying more per once this one. A rare miss, but a miss nonetheless by Primo Chalk.
