This worked on my old dryer no more loud rumbling thumping and tumble noise.

If your dryer is squeaking, squealing, or being generally LOUD, there's a good chance you could use a new belt and tensioner pulley. I replaced this part on my dryer, and now it no longer chirps at me when I start it up. It doesn't squeak for several minutes while it warms up.Do a search on youtube for your brand/model dryer, and find a video that shows you how to replace this part. It's an easy repair and you'll thank me when you're done. Ahhhh, peace and quiet.I've bought more than one of these, so they don't seem to be quite as durable as the original part. But the first one did last a couple of years before I needed to replace again. OEM is quite a bit more, but it will likely last longer. The original part lasted over a decade.

Was just what needed to fix. Squeak in my dryer. Tried the oiling first, that didn’t work so went ahead and replaced. No more squeak! Such an easy an inexpensive fix without a $100 visit from a repair technician. Man I love YouTube videos and Amazon. Have saved me hundreds in repairs. If u have a squeak just buy this and replace AND u have a spare belt when/if needed.
