If you are questioning whether or not to do it, you def should! This is my first stainless steal set and it is amazing! They are non toxic which is what I was looking for. First, I want to start by saying this is a beautiful set. I have an induction cook top and these are perfect for it. They heat up very quickly and I only have to put it on medium heat. They are dishwasher safe and oven safe. All of them had matching lids. They are easy to clean. These are very heavy duty and weigh a bit more than normal pots.

I use these on an induction range and couldn't be happier.Solid, sturdy, practical set. Really nice finish on the stainless steel and it cleans easily.Yes you can spend more, but unless you are a pro, I think you'd be wasting money.

These are nice heavy-duty pots and pans. A little off balance and the handles could be more comfortable but they work great on my induction stove. I would rather they had a brushed finish instead of the highly polished one because the green scrubbies leave fine scratches in the finish. Otherwise - they are perfect.

Great set! The stainless steel seems thick. Lids are a little thinner material but still good. Looks nice and perfect sizes. So far the scratch resistance has done well….make sure to follow cleaning rules. The pans are a little sticky but nothing terribly.

This 8-piece set of cookware by Tramontina is lovely. Really pretty. First I cooked rice in the 3-quart saucepan. Now, the bottom of that pot does not fit perfectly over any of my burners, so I used the burner closest to the size of the pan's bottom. It did alright even though the burner was a bit small for the pan. I did use a bit of medium high heat to bring the water to a boil, which is not recommended by the manufacturer. The rice turned out fine, thanks. After I washed and dried the pan, however, I could see that the the very inside bottom of the pan was discolored. Of course, I was pretty dismayed. Then I reread the directions again. Be sure to read the directions. There are several mentions of what can happen when high heat settings are used. These words under "CLEANING AND CARING FOR YOUR COOKWARE" were helpful: "Prolonged exposure to high heat settings may cause your cookware to discolor. To recondition your cookware or to remove stubborn spots or stains, use a nonabrasive pad and quality stainless steel cleanser such as Bar Keepers Friend." Well, Bar Keepers Friend did indeed remove the stains on the inside bottom of my pan, and I was very happy about that. Next time I make my rice, I'll exercise greater patience and wait for the water to boil at a lower temp setting.Here's an update. I have exercised greater patience. I've owned this cookware for less than a month. Every piece has now been used to cook food. Adhering to temperature settings no higher than medium has prevented serious staining. I still use Bar Keeper's Friend to remove stray spots. Bar Keepers Friend will help me keep my Tramontina cookware gleaming and beautiful. I'm very thrilled to own this set. It was recommended by the NY Time's Wirecutter for induction. I don't have an induction cooktop. I fell in love with this cookware set for its stainless steel properties and weight.

These were a gift for our daughter last Christmas and we/they are very happy with them. Perfect set, nice quality, heavy duty, they said they clean easy.

I received this set of pots and pans on November 2024. They have been a terrible disappointment. Everything I cook in the pans it sticks. No matter what I use to grease the pans. I used low heat, non stick spray, butter, margarine, and oil. The results are always the same. The food gets stuck to the pans and it is impossible to wash unless I let it soaked for a couple of hours in warm water and even then it is very hard to clean. I am just now complaining 8 months after receiving the set because give up. No matter what I do the food still gets stuck to the pan. I cannot afford to buy another brand of pans. I am requesting that a different set of this same brand be send to me. Perhaps, it is just this specific set that is defective.
