I purchased the 2’ x 8’ Grid Watering System and am extremely pleased with it. It works as advertised!!! The system creates a grid where I planted different vegetable seeds and it irrigates each grid thoroughly! The system was extremely easy to set up and comes with easy to understand directions. Excellent product! Easy to determine the size you need for your raised bed(s) and since the grid arrives fully assembled, it takes almost no time to install and start using. Each grid comes with a valve that you can adjust to regulate amount of water that is dispensed, ranging from a slow drip to a looping spray. If you’re looking for a watering system that’s well-made and easy to use, this is the one!

We have a 4x8 split bed, it has a divider in the middle. The grid doesn’t sit the way I had hoped, it’s a little off but still works very well. My bed is about an inch too small in each direction, so the grid sits on the lip. There is hardly any water loss. Super easy one person assembly. Wish I had found it sooner.

So far I have five. I will very likely get more next year.The only problem I see is that the piece that connects to hose is awkward-fitting if your raised bed is not filled to the very top. I think I’ll have enough compost to fill the five beds where I have the grids I purchase, If I have enough compost to completely fill other beds, I get some more grids.There are cheaper ways to water your raised beds (like soaker hoses) but these are a lot easier to set up and they do a great job of getting water where it’s needed.2025: These are very durable so even though they are more expensive to begin with, they don’t need to be replaced every 2-4 years (which is how long my soaker hoses tend to last. I have ten of these now and will buy 2-3 more this year. I bought my first one probably 4 years ago and it looks and works just like it when it was new.

I love this grid irrigation setup. I bought two for my raised beds, and joined them up, using a piece I had to buy from the sellers website.One thing I want to draw attention to, my raised beds werent quite the size of the grids so I cut them down with a razor and used automotive caps for the ends, see pics. This took only a few minutes to do this and set up the whole thing. I used a 12 foot hose to join the beds. I also used a splitter and a timer. Its practically completely automated!The units have levers so you can set the pressure and how much water you want. Of course this also depends on your household water pressure. I tested this before leaving my timer to do the job, and it will go from a drip to full sprinkler mode where the water sails just like a sprinkler 6 feet over, outside the raised bed! Amazing!This is a very quick and easy install. I recommend. My exboyfriend who helped me, scornfully commented on it saying there wasnt much to it, that he could make something better, etc. But he hasnt! And that is why I needed this and I think its fantastic!
