Alphonse Mucha Hardcover – August 20, 2014

LOVE it!!!! Many illustrations, and no water damage like other few previous costumers.Actually I was only looking for poster illustrations, but it contains many other works. (which turned out that I found better understanding)

I had to buy this even though I already own a Mucha art book because it contains more than just the usual colored poster art he's known for. It's filled with rough pencil sketches, conte drawings, lettering, furniture carvings and design work! The binding is not the best but the material in here is great.

Beautiful book of the artist's work and stories about his life and inspirations. I love looking through it for my own inspirations. I usually buy Kindle books, but this one needs to be out on a coffee table where everyone can enjoy it.

It truly is an outstanding book but the mildew order is VERY STRONG. My husband grew up in a very humid city and the books in his home smelled exactly like this. But, he says that simply leaving it out in the sun will get make the odor dissappear. I am trying that tomorrow.

Outstanding monograph of Mucha's work. Excellent reproductions and an excellent survey of the breadth of his portfolio. Not only does this work cover the poster art, but it explores his decorative designs, photography, drawings and the Slavic murals in lush detail.

It's ok. I would have like an art book at this price to be a bit nicer.

The great book, must have. Perfect gift for art nouveau lovers.But guys, please use more secure package. The books aren't cheap.p.s. the book i got have a strange musty odor.
