Fresh and vibrant hay!
After being impressed with Viking Farmer's Oat Hay and pellets, I decided to try their Orchard Grass. The box has a strong fresh grass and hay scent (but since this is orchard grass, no allergies for this human) and is jammed packed with tender hay.I have 2 rabbits - a 8 year old Holland Lop and a new Angora. I've previously regularly bought Orchard Grass for years - but after multiple bad batches in a row of not great orchard grass (all yellow, dust, and dirtballs) that my rabbit refused to eat from other Amazon sellers that do 5lb+ Orchard Grass, I switched to Timothy. My new rabbit, a Satin Angora, has Timothy hay allergies, so I went back to try Orchard Grass again, as well as Oat Hay. My Angora and Holland Lop heartily enjoy this Orchard Grass. I admit, both seem to prefer Viking Farmer's Oat Hay more (the oat stalks are rich and tasty) but I prefer this Orchard Grass as there's less bits stuck to Angora rabbit fur and less rich.Either way, I'm sticking to this brand. I hope for a larger box option sometime in the future.

Great bunny grass, no sneezing
After using other grasses for our bunny and suffering with hay fever, we tried this product and stopped suffering. Bunny loved the grass too.

First batch was great this batch is NOT
When I got the first batch of Orchard grass was ok I did find some weeds , sticks but I thought ok someone missed something . Living in Texas we have to source hay for my guinea pigs . I was sold on the fact they claim or did at time there is no weeds in the hay and it’s screened to take out all the junk like bugs , sticks , weeds , fur whatever . The second box was a diaster with full size dead bugs , weeds lots and lots of them , sticks and more bugs . The bugs really started to freak me out . I would not buy again ever . Here’s my thing if there’s a chance that you may find some weeds or sticks , a dead bug sometimes ok just put a disclaimer however I have found the best hay company ever that DOES NOT HAVE these things in it and when I recently got Timothy not orchard I called and the owner answers the phone and apologized ( I have allergies with Timothy ) and sent out complete new box immediately !! He did not send label to return 35 pounds of Timothy which I might add was amazing but can’t use . That’s customer service and standing by your product

Freshest Orchard Grass Hay
This is the best hay I’ve been ordering for months. It also arrives quickly and is very fresh and green. I also appreciate that 90% of of it is long strands of hay and not just chopped down bits. My rabbit absolutely loves this hay. I do however wish they had a 10 pound version available for order since the 5 pound is quite expensive and runs out rather quickly. However as long as the quality stays the same, I have no problem continuing to order more of this hay in the future!

Hands down THE BEST!
Absolutely hands down the best orchard hay! My guinea pigs LOVE this stuff, as does my family! (We are all quite allergenic and Orchard hay is a wonderful alternative to folks who are allergic to Timothy hay. We were all having terrible allergies to the Timothy hay so I switched to orchard and we now have ZERO allergies, yay!)I've ordered orchard hay from a few different, well-reviewed companies here on Amazon and off Amazon. This is BY FAR the best! I cannot overstate the quality. The pieces are very, very long, green, and fresh. There is little to no dust. Several other places I had ordered from had a lot of brown pieces mixed in that my piggies would take great effort to pull out of their hay rack, pile up, and refuse to eat. While their pickiness was adorable and hilarious, it was also a huge waste. This hay must taste great too because they popcorn like crazy every time I put a new handful in their rack. Buy it! Your pets will thank you. :)

Wasn’t my Guinea pig’s favorite
My Guinea pig has been eating orchard.grass since she was about 6 months old. This was the first batch that she didn’t just devour. She didn’t really like it and left a lot of it in the cage. Even when she had a lot in the cage, she was begging for more food.
