Would buy again
After my recent pregnancy, I developed neck pain. I am a combination side/stomach sleeper, so finding a pillow with the right amount of support can be difficult for me. I chose this pillow because I read in the description that you could adjust the thickness to accommodate any sleep-type. Overall, I'd give this pillow a 4/5 and I discuss my reasoning below. Before I do get into my specific opinions, I will note that I purchased the Queen-sized pillow, I am 5'3 & average-build since body-type probably does play a bit of a factor in choosing a pillow, and I did use a queen pillowcase over the cover that the pillow has upon arrival.First impression: panicked and disappointed. When the pillow arrived, it was in a small box and vacuum sealed. When you open the bag, the pillow is totally flat and limp, unlike the photos in the description. There were no notes/instructions in the packaging, so I came back to the Amazon product page where I found out you have to fluff the pillow with your fingers and let it rest for 24-48 hours before use so that the pillow plumps up again. I fluffed it with my fingers and left it sitting for about 12 hours before I went back to it, fluffed it by hand again, and flipped it over. Less than 48 hours later, I had a plump & fuller looking pillow. I wasn't expecting to have to wait for the pillow to rise before using it, however, and the pillow had arrived 24 hours later than the anticipated delivery date. Of note compared to other reviews, there was no mold or odor when the pillow arrived.Feel: A pillow can look as good as a cloud, but that is meaningless until you actually lay your head down to rest. Despite its plump & full appearance, the pillow does have some give to it. It is flexible and malleable, so you can shape it to fit your head and needs (without removing any fill). It is soft enough that you don't feel like you are sleeping on a rock, but firm enough that you feel like your neck is supported. My head did not get hot/sweaty using this pillow, so I did feel like the pillow was breathable as advertised.Sleep: I've been using this pillow for almost a week now, and in general I have felt more rested and have had less neck pain - and that's with getting up multiple times during the night to check on/feed my baby. When I am sleeping, I have found myself getting a deeper sleep for longer, and not tossing and turning as much to relieve neck pain. To be clear, my neck pain is still there, but changing to this pillow has helped. Perhaps with more prolonged use since I will be keeping this pillow, it will continue to lessen.Ease of Use: The fault on this error is likely mine, but when I read the description about being able to adjust the inside of the pillow to suit your sleep-type needs, I had the impression that there would be an easy to remove center insert/inner layer that you could just take out and put back in as needed. When I opened the inside of the pillow, I found it to be full of a fluffy fill. Looking back now, I can see that pictured in the product description so I over-looked that when I made the purchase. However, it is not very easy/convenient to remove the fill to adjust the pillow since it is just a fluffy mess. I have not removed any fill to adjust the pillow because I don't feel like cleaning up a mess and there is no easy way to store the fill in case I wanted to put it back in. The lack of an easy-to-remove insert is disappointing, but the pillow is malleable enough that I can move the fill around to adjust the height of the pillow where ever I decide to lay my head for the night. I have not tried to wash the pillow yet, but again there were no care instructions in the packaging.Pictures: In this review, I've included a few pictures. The first two pictures are side-by-side comparisons of this pillow (left) versus my cooling gel memory foam pillow (right) that I had been using prior to this purchase. How do they compare? I prefer the Kunpeng pillow. The blue cooling gel is actually too cold for my preferences, and the memory foam in that pillow is solid, flat, and firm - you cannot manipulate it. It's too low for me when I sleep on my side, and too high when I sleep on my stomach, so I would always end up with a stiff/painful neck after sleeping on that pillow. Because the Kunpeng pillow is softer and more flexible without losing any sturdiness, I would definitely choose it again over a standard/cooling memory foam pillow. Back sleepers may find the firmness and height of the cooling memory foam pillow better, but the Kunpeng is definitely a better fit for my combination needs. As you can see in the attached pictures, too, the Kunpeng has not lost any of its fullness or its shape over this past week of use as promised in the product description. The next two pictures are the insides of the pillow. First, the outer cover unzips to reveal a much less attractive inner pillow. When you unzip the inner cover, you find the fill. The fill in my pillow did not match that pictured in the product description (notice the blue specks and old/discolored yellow foam). I did not open the pillow insides until today prior to writing this review, and the appearance of the fill does not change my opinion about the comfort and support of the pillow. I would be curious, however, to see if the insides deteriorate over time given their appearance, and how long it takes for that to happen. I've had the cooling memory foam pillow for 5 years (a long time to have an uncomfortable pillow, I know), so I wonder if this pillow can match/compare to that lifespan. The final picture is just a demonstration of the flexibility of the pillow. It is easy to manipulate to whatever shape you need without losing support, so works pretty well for me as a side and stomach sleeper. There you have it - my overall review is that I would buy this pillow again because of the comfort, support, and flexibility of this pillow. I have found this pillow is supportive enough to lessen neck pain. Yet, I would not give this pillow 5-stars because I was disappointed by the ease (or rather difficulty) of adjusting the height of the pillow for different sleep styles by removing filling, and the filling is not quite as advertised. Additionally, there are no care instructions that come with the pillow, so that is also inconvenient/annoying. Although I was frustrated at the delay in being able to use this pillow, I would not detract from my rating for that given shipping problems with COVID and the impracticality of shipping a fully-fluffed pillow.

Molds to your body
I purchased one of these pillow 3 years ago and now have decided to add them to my guest bedroom. My favorite thing about them is the way you can form fit them to your body. The loose sponge like fillers are great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that this newer one does not have as much fillers as the one I purchased last time. I think it is a little too thin.

Great pillow
This is the second time I bought the same pillow. Very comfortable, durable, and good quality.

Honest review from a person with lifetime neck pain
I wish I could give this a 4.5, but Amazon doesn't allow that. It is NOT a perfect 5 (for me), but it is not as low as a a 4 either. I've had neck pain/problems for the past 25 years or so, and a good memory foam pillow is VERY important in my life. I have only come across one perfect pillow in my lifetime, and it is no longer made :( . I have probably bought 30 different pillows trying to find the best one for me, and I've probably tried out over 100 throughout all those years (laying on every pillow at mattress stores, department stores, etc.) Anyway, some negative reviews here made me a little skeptical as did how it arrived (all rolled up in a box). I had also purchased a second pillow the same day on Prime Day. So here's my thoughts...- I am solely a side sleeper now. I can't sleep on my back now because of some breathing issues. What I really need in a pillow is that the edges be firmer, thicker to cradle my neck.- It was flattened during the shipping, but it ended up going to a pretty good size. (I wish I had measured, but I'm not at home now).- It's a good level of softness/firmness for me, but I could possibly see some people wishing it were a little softer in the middle.- I've slept on it for a week now, and it has now replaced what was my 2 best pillows that I'd rotate each night (depending on how my neck was feeling prior to going to bed). I wake up with no neck pain, stiffness, or whatever. With my all-time favorite pillow, I'd wake up almost every single morning and my neck would crack/pop (like when a chiropractor adjusts you). It would feel so great. I'm starting to get that with this pillow.- I can't give a full review of the cooling/warmth of the pillow as I prefer to sleep on the non-gel side. I know that the pillow hasn't gotten hot on me though.- I think I wish the pillow were slightly thicker around the edges. That's it for now. I hope this helps anyone who is looking. If after a month or so of trying it out I am still feeling this way, then I will probably order like 3 or 4 more. I REALLY regret not buying all 7 of my "perfect pillow" that I already owned when I saw them all on sale after they had been discontinued. I already owned 3, and they were still $90 apiece even on sale (originally $150 in stores). I should have bought them then. I wont make that same mistake if this one stands up well in the next month!
