It locks and unlocks.
It works. Locks and unlocks. Comes with more keys than I'll ever lose. No complaints here.

Great upgrade for harbor freight tool box
I lost the keys to my harbor freight tool box. I drilled out the old lock and installed this one. It is a great upgrade. works way better than the stock lock and came with lots of extra keys.

Close to a fit but requires work to make it fit
Sure not a fit. But with no other replacement lock available it can be made to work. Opening on the end of the lock, that accepts the locking bar is too small and needs to be widened. The tool box locking bar is too long and will need to be trimmed down. This can be done with the right drill bit and a dremel hand tool. Some other adjustments are required. However, if you are something of a mechanic, it can be done. Once modified, it works great and looks good.

Don't waste your time
Though these parts are inexpensive and simple, they don't fit. Not even close.

Good fix for craftsman chest lock
Locked worked but had to make some modifications cut 1/4 “ off of locking bar and nob off of end of key and grind stop to make 180 degree turn. As sent stops at 90 degrees

It’s a good lock
I had to remove 1/4 of an inch off the end of my craftsman locking bar on my rolling tool box cabinet. For the lock to fit up where it would turn the drawer lock rod. And it worked great then.

It worked!
This craftsman tool cabinet had to have the old lock removed. This is the only lock cylinder that I found with the female end required to engage the locking rod inside of the toolbox. I did have to do some grinding on the cylinder and the rod but it did work!!
