Great product! 3 years of use between 2 dogs
This inflatable collar was purchased in 2021 and we've used it multiple times over the years between 2 different dogs. One dog is 150 lbs and the other is 120 lbs. Typically it's only been used for a few days to a couple of weeks per incident (our 150 lbs fella is unaware of his size and notorious for slamming into things & getting hurt and we learned quickly that he would use the giant plastic Elizabethan collar as a weapon to knock things over and hit people in the legs...so we only use inflatable collars now. But this collar has truly been put to the test this year because this past February our 120 lbs girl was severely injured so we have rotated between this inflatable collar and one other collar for almost 4 months straight. This collar has finally started to lose air... After 3 years and lots of use. I just ordered another one because our big girl will still be recovering for another couple of months. The fabric on this collar isn't plush, it's a slicker material that wipes off easily, hides the dirt & slobber, and washs great!! The way the Velcro loops through that buckle seems to take some slack off the Velcro itself and has helped it hold up longer. The other inflatable collar we are rotating with was just purchased in Feb of this year and the Velcro isn't staying together very well. That other collar doesn't have that metal ring to buckle it through like this blue one does. This collar is a lot larger than other collars we've tried in the past. It has to be BIG so they can't lick the injuries. Other collars just haven't compared to this one. It's a solid investment for a great price. They should sell it in the vet urgent care!!** Our dogs use it as a pillow and don't seem uncomfortable at all. They have always eagerly put their head in when we go to put it on.

Great fit
Purchased this for our little Maltese to keep him safe after surgery. It works great and easy to put on him. He is able to eat, drink and be comfortable. Would purchase again.

See update- Excellent quality, works better than a cone even for big dogs
Update- they need to improve and strengthen the Velcro as well as shorten the long strap around the neck since there’s not a dog on the planet that would need it to be that big. After only using for a week, it’s barely securing anymore, which is such a shame for what is otherwise a very good product.Original review:This inflatable collar “cone alternative”Is better quality than I expected. I have a 65 lb pointer with super long arms, so I ordered the largest size in order to prevent him from being able to reach his wounded foot. I was worried his slim head would be able to slip out of the largest size, but I haven’t had an issue with it. Also, there are loops inside you can insert a collar if you need more stability. Excellent product and oh so much more comfortable than a cone!

Doesn’t last.
I loved this thing while it lasted! But this is not good for dogs that get bored while alone. I left my dog alone for all of 10 minutes with this donut on, and she managed to get her foot stuck in it, and then she panicked, managed to slip off the entire donut (Don’t ask me how) and chewed it up. Ended up being a more expensive item than necessary with a vet trip. I’d say this is good for dogs while supervised. We all know we can’t do that 24/7 though. I would like a refund

Size L was perfect for my English lab
Love the adjustable Velcro! And the inner loops to attach to the color so it won’t slide around. Easy on and off. I would not leave my dog alone with this on all day instead of a cone, or at night because longer, bigger dogs can still reach around and lick if they wanted. With big incisions, we use full body suits, but this is a nice alternative when we home and the body suits need a wash, or they just get too hot in the suits. We use this one for walks and outings. Easy to remove cover and wash after it gets full of slobber! They never like cones, but at least these are soft, cute and sometimes they can sleep in them ok. Can’t eat or drink well with it on, so again do not leave them alone for long periods with it, unless that is what you want. The watermelon and avocado designs are fun and cute!

Works well and folds up for storage
Years ago we purchased a very expensive version of this, one that did not inflate but was a solid cushion. It was superb and we passed it along to other dog owners. Well our "little darling" was chewing on something and I needed something right away. She was a rescue and a bit skittish so the cone of shame was not going to work. This one inflates easily, fit her neck (she was on the smaller end of the measurement) and did not impede her eating, drinking or running through the house. She did have trouble playing with her "Bambi" (deer antler). It was not as cushy as the original expensive one, but it does the job. One note- it seemed to slightly deflate after a few days.

BAD SIZING - POOR DESIGN
Quality is great and seems like a good product but the design/sizing makes no sense. When fully inflated, the opening is much too small for my dog, while simultaneously the donut itsel is so large they cant really walk or hop up a few inches into their dog bed. Its both too large and yet too tight. The velcro that is meant to hold the slit part closed is designed to just barely close the gap and you srent given enough slack to tighten it. The collar that the donut attaches too had to be made as large as it can go, in order to fit - and yet the opening of the donut is too small. None of it makes sense. This was seemingly designed for a dog with a 2in neck and 14" legs?Additionally, the weight is disproportionate so the donut does not stay where you put it. The opening falls to the bottom where the strap is impossible to tighten enough, so the dogs legs keep getting caught in it as they try to walk or jump up into bed. At one point we had to remove it because the dogs legs got stuck and the collar ended up sliding down so she was being choked. This may work for larger dogs but the SM size makes zero sense for the pet. Its like they just changed the inner diameter of the design and left everything else the same. Its too heavy for a weak post-op small dog to even comfortably walk with. And when inflated fully its way too large for them to do anything at all, and creates a breathing hazard when lying down on it.

Easiest Dog Cone
This dog cone works well and the fabric is easy to clean. I ordered the medium because I already have one in grey and wanted a back-up. The colour is actually red, not rose as pictured and described in the ad. I tested it out and it may be losing a tiny bit of air. It is not enough to be concerned about.
