Face Masks Face Bandanas with Ear Loops for Sports, Outdoors, Sport Headband Neck Gaiter

Really enjoying the security of the gaiter remaining in place as well as the different color options that purchasing this bundle presents. It was getting bothersome having to periodically pull up gaiters without the ear loops that these have. I do have to say, though, that the ear loops on these gaiters are actually openings in the sides of the gaiter and not loops that go over the ears, and the openings are tight around my ears. By tight, I mean snug enough where there is no gap showing around the ear. My ears are on the small side, so this might be problematic for anyone with larger ears to get into. I can still wear my hoops or dangling earrings wearing the gaiter though. Since it is summer as I write this, gaiters, in general, are warmer than face masks, but for myself more comfortable than wearing masks. I wear both, but since I have skin issues, the gaiter doesn't tend to rub or cling to my skin as much. Wearing facial coverings during this pandemic is mandatory so I'd rather try for comfort. But this bundle, again, also offers different colors and patterns to match whatever I am wearing. Since I bought it as a lightning deal (yea!) I consider myself so so lucky to have gotten this. I am sure I'll be wearing these exclusively once the weather starts chilling.

The fabric of these gaiter masks is thicker than many of the extremely thin gaiters I've seen, still very easy to breathe through, and hold minimal warmth. The fabric has an almost fleecy inner texture to it, very comfortable. The earloops are comfortable and effective to keep the mask in place.Another feature of these masks is the drape. Unlike many gaiters that provide an almost grotesque outline of the face in the snug form fit, these gaiter masks fit snugly over the nose and was only snug enough over cheeks and mouth to 'suggest' facial shape, more of a close drape. I was actually hoping it would be a little bit looser over the mouth and jaw.Despite the slightly thicker fabric, this gaiter cannot effectively filter droplets either to protect the wearer or to protect others nearby. I would find this useful only in situations where we could maintain distance from others not of our household, primarily outdoors.The inside of the fabric is pale, and would not be as attractive if worn reversed. The vertical seam must be to the back for the earloops to fit appropriately.

I got these yesterday and began to wear them today. They can cover the face to the neck. I doubled mine in half, and it made a face mask. I could breathe, and it decreased the amount of my breath going all over and contaminating everything.The thing I want to say is, I was unhappy with how long it took for them to get here. I left a message, and they e-mailed me back that it was because of COVID-19. Not long after, I saw a picture in maybe the Washington Post that showed shipping containers stacked sky-high in China. They are having a hard time with shipping there. FYI.

The gaiters are comfortable for the average sized head. The ear loops are a plus since there is no other way to ensure it will stay where you want it. I was very disappointed that the patterns received were not what were shown in the photo. I was expecting all paisley patterns and I ended up with two that were not, an American flag and a pink stars. Definitely didn't want them, but I didn't want to return all just to have it happen again. Unfortunately the two colors I really wanted were not included.

I love the face that I can wear a mask without needing ear elastics which I find hideously uncomfortable. The masks fit well and are easy to deal with. The only thing I don't like about these masks is the fact that when they get washed, (hand washed and draped over hangers to dry) the silky feeling that was there when new is completely gone and it almost feels like a lightweight flannel. That I don't care for. If they stayed as silky and smooth after washing as they do coming out of the package, they'd be perfect.

To the question: "Are these made in cotton?" The seller answered "It is made of cotton blend, soft, breathable and lightweight. The fabric is similar to the thin cotton T-shirt we usually wear." I'm not sure how much cotton is in the "blend", but I've never seen a t-shirt made out of this type of material which looks and feels like 100% polyester. My mom is skinny, but these were so tight that she had trouble getting the one she tried on off her head. They *do* have more of the feel of moisture-wicking polyester workout shirts, so if *that's* what you're looking for, you're good - as long as you have a small head! One star for value, one star for design, one star for quality (they're well-made), and zero stars for fit and "as advertised."
