I've had one of these Opti water filters for 3 years... The best water I've ever had! Even at the end of three months, when you are supposed to replace the filer, the water is still perfect. Sometimes I forget to replace the filter and I have never noticed even a slight change in the water quality, even after 4 or 5 months!! It even filters really, really, REALLY bad tap water into pure, clean alkaline water, with NO taste!! I just bought this new one for friends for Christmas. Very sturdy, well packaged and great customer service!! Only complaint is the 60cc syringe... if it cracks (mine did), the new ones are over priced, but then... I'm cheap;o) SOLID 10 STARS!!!!

I LOVE MY OPTI CHILL!!! I have now been officially baptized as a water snob lol. Up until recently I usually buy bottled Alkaline water and that was getting crazy expensive. So I started looking at other options. Most were just too expensive, others I’ve tried still tasted terrible.I heard about Opti from a friend when he brought his own water to my house on a visit. (I’d offered him water on a previous visit and he hardly drank it.) He suggested I look into Opti water so I was pleasantly surprised that I could find it easily on Amazon. So I ordered an Opti chill.Upon opening the package, I was greeted with something personable, “I’ll leave the surprise to you to find out.” Just an added touch that made the experience even better. The directions on putting the filter in, expectations on length of time it takes to fill, best practices etc were all right there in the faq’s. Nothing long, very easy. In no time it was in the fridge filtering as I excitedly waited for it to fill up.When I returned to find my new Opti Chill full and chilled I immediately decided to do a taste test. Mind you, at this point I don’t know exactly what I’m in for. I fill a glass of Water from my previous water filter pitcher ( Which I will never speak the name of again) and one from my Opti Chill. I take a sip of the predecessor. Tastes alright. Like water. The water I’ve known for a long time. Then I take a sip from my Opti chill. My brain went haywire. I’ve never tasted water so clean and crisp and clear. The surprise sent my senses into overdrive. This might sound pretty exaggerated but I’m serious. The best water experience I’ve had. I go back for another sip from my old pitcher and it tastes like dirt.I’m changed. The only thing I can think of now is how do I take this with me wherever I go? Lolneedless to say I’m uying one for work. I can’t do the sparklett’s water pitcher cooler at work anymore. I need my Opti water! Try it, you’ll love it - I’m sure of it.

First it’s a great product with good value. However the OptiChill spigot that needs to be installed needs a tightening tool. I tried by my hand but it still had a leak after hand tightening. I tried several plier and wrenches and finally got it tight enough. The design looks good, it’s just hard to tighten to prevent leaks.Water quality and filter works well. I’ll use this everyday. Just watching for leaks around the spigot.

I have used this water unit every day for a year now, and it worked great!The filtration system is very effective and highly recommended to anyone, and the water unit can be easily cleaned. Water tastes fresh and clean!CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING!I bought this to make sure I drink water more regularly and save some $$ instead of buying bottled water. After six months of using it, we noticed that the spigot was leaking, and recently, I accidentally threw out the old filter with the adapter rings still on it. I reached out to Opti Team to see if they have a recommendation on what we should do. However, this was one of the most effortless replacement inquires/calls I've made. I told them what was wrong, what model, and what little info they needed and shipped a replacement, no back and forth about why I deserved one, or if it was amazon's fault or whatever—just good customer service with a replacement.

UPDATE!I bought this in September 2020 it is now April 2021 and the dam thing broke see pics. Because I had to flush the filter all the time I assume the constant pressure caused the break plus I noticed it was getting really difficult to put the filter back in place. My husband had to go out and get a Brita because we needed an emergency water filter. I have a had a terrible experience with this filter and do not recommend!!12/2020Water great. Filter sux!! I have had to flush the filter every day several times a day with the syringe that came with it. I am really fed up and about to return it. I should be able to add water without disassembling the entire unit. I add water and it stops filtering every single time I fill it up. I have to put it in the sink and disassemble everything which is a hassle and time consuming. The water tastes good but I have to do to much. Maybe it's the filter that came with it but I don't care this is not a good experience.

The Opti water filter is amazing! The water tastes great and the unit fits perfectly in my fridge. It takes a little while to filter the water but it is worth it to have the quality water that Opti delivers. As I mentioned, the water tastes great - very fresh/clean taste.I had a Brita filter before I bought my Opti filtration system and after a month of use I can confidently say Opti is the far superior product. Installing the filter was easy, just a few simple, easy to follow steps.I bought two units, one for myself and one for my brother and he agrees that Opti is a quality product that we will continue to use and support in the future.I would highly recommend this product!
