This cage is exceptionally well made, sturdy and easy to assemble. I've bought from this company before, but this cage is the most impressive product I've bought. The 3/4 inch gaps in the outer panels mean uses for tiny animals isn't recommended. The metal grates and ramps are 1/4 inch construction so foot comfort for larger rodents and other pets is assured. The doors are well placed for owner convenience. I definitely recommend this cage to ferret, larger rat, or even cat or large herps owners. Larger birds will fit nicely as well. There are no areas to trap waste or spilled food and smell bad. No wood to hold liquid odors. The only down side is the plastic tray is very flimsy and thin and the water bottle leaks.Otherwise, two thumbs up!

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE SMALL RATS
So I bought this in July 2024. It’s now January 2025, and the cage has held up but the doors aren’t aligned, you really have to shove it in the socket to where it goes. And I should’ve listened to the reviews. I have 2 girl rats (2 months at the time) and they can squeeze through the bars. Yup. So me and my father had to buy chicken wire to put around THE WHOLE CAGE! You have been warned. Other wise the cage is fine for the price I guess. I wish I invested in something like critter nation. So again, if you are looking for a rat cage for girl rats, please don’t waste your money. I spent 100+ when I could’ve just bought a regular critter nation cage.

I needed a new cage for my rats. Easy assembly but the cage door needs filing. Sharp bar ends only default.

Came bent
This cage is the PERFECT size for our ferrets and was fairly ready to assemble EXCEPT the top was bent out of shape. I don't blame the manufacturers but it would have been nice to get it the way it was supposed to be. Only needed the included allen wrench to assemble and the water bottle and bowl are nice
