Got this in today for my daughter and discovered it was missing pieces. We are unable to complete it and I will be returning it. Will gladly give a higher review if they will replace our missing items or send us a new one.Update: Easy to replace. Has all the pieces and my daughter is happy! Thanks for great service.

Legos are really a joke compared to Knex ($$$)

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased both the Empire State Building set and the Golden Gate Bridge set. Both were fun to put together and in my opinion the perfect difficulty for an adult, and the perfect side projects. For the Golden Gate Bridge, I did not like the cord that the set came with for the suspension (just not manageable to work with really), so I ended up using red yarn which still looks great. My advice is to have some tweezers handy for pieces that are a little more difficult to snap into each other. Also good for managing the Empire State Building which has many layers and at different points you have to fiddle with layers that are already assembled that you can’t get to with your fingers. Good break from my typical Lego projects. Need k’nex to come out with more sets like this!

There were several pieces missing, however I also received extras of other pieces so I sort of improvised and it worked for the most part. The little clips to hold the cables/red string are not great and pop off a lot when trying to tighten the string. Also there are errors in the instruction booklet. Overall though its pretty cool once it is built. I added a 2 lane road strip to make it look more realistic!

I love the idea of this product: k’nex have been used in classrooms to teach basic mechanical connections and architecture principles for decades. Why not produce a line that is aesthetically pleasing AND functional in the classic play style they’ve come to be known and loved for? The only problem is they scaled all the pieces down to… 75-50% their original size. Why? Other than being a disingenuous cost-saving measure, this in no way reads as a more mature product, just one you can lose more readily. Love the colors: wish they could be used with my other sets for expanded building potential, but sadly, you have to buy special adapters to get them to even interact with their lineage toy-line. Missed opportunity.

I purchased this for my 10 year old son. Lego's are not a challenge for him. He puts them together really fast and the looses interest. Legos are expensive and short lived. This however, has been a journey so far. The instructions are just pictures. Each step lists what pieces are used and the "finished" step. Its a puzzle in itself. He has to figure how they made the shape with the pieces they used. Makes it much more difficult and he has to actually figure is out. If you have a brainiac like I do... and they love to build and figure out puzzles... this is perfect. My 12 year old put her hands up and walked away. Younger kids have to have the right personality for this or a engineering mind person to help. Definitely worth the money. He has spent an hour a day for 4 days and this is how far he has come. AWESOME!

I loved this toy. It takes time to assemble but is a great family project to do together and the outcome was amazing. If you follow the directions (Which are very easy to read and understand) explicitly you will have a beautiful final project. I recommend separating all the pieces at the beginning so its easier what to do step by step. It really comes together so beautifully. HIGHLY recommend this - a great gift item!

Buyer beware!! It’s hard to assemble this when the box is missing 300 pieces. I wanted to build this and use it as a decoration for my daughter’s birthday party so it was disappointing to realize I had an incomplete kit. There isn’t enough time to get a replacement and build it before her party. Such a shame.It was only after getting the item that I realized so many other people had also complained about parts issues.

Es war beim Kauf für mich nicht ersichtlich das es sich um Minro Knex handelt und es ist eine ziemliche fummelei das Teil aufzubauen. Eigentlich war es ein Geschenk für meinen Sohn, der gerne mit knex baut aber das ist für ein Kind deutlich zu schwer aufzubauen.
