Trader Joe's Creamy No Salt Organic Peanut Butter 16 Oz. 2 PackUSDA Organic

Order came in a day early. It's just a great value for the money.

... as did the Arrowhead Mills Deaf Smith County brand. Now I can't find organic Valencia peanut butter. I love the bits of peanut skin!Simple ingredients ... Organic Valencia Peanuts!!!!So ... looks like someone decided to stock up and store the last cases in a warehouse (or their garage) and sell at huge mark up ... BUT what are you going to do?I hope SOMEBODY decides to manufacture this product again. What Trader Joes carries now is quite inferior.

I ordered 2 jars. One had no seal and had leaked all over the package. One was sealed and ok.Afraid to order again even though I like the taste.

First, peanut butter in general is not my favorite food. I bought it for my puppy to place it in a toy and keep the dog occupied.He loves it and I am glad that there are no additives, but.....I tried this peanut butter myself and it did not end up on one spoonDelicious!

I bought this on amazon because of the pandemic. I did not want to go to my local Trader Joes. While it cost a lot more here, I figured it was worth it to me rather than take the risk of shopping in the store.This peanut butter settles to the bottom of the jar and the oil floats on top. I always turn mine upside down for a few days before opening jar. Then I turn it upright and open it. I use one stirrer on my electric hand-mixer to stir it thoroughly. If you try this, be forewarned... Hang on to jar with other hand with an iron grip. Otherwise it can spin out of your hand and peanut butter will be flying everywhere. Seriously. I promise you, you dont want to spend the next hour cleaning your kitchen, and getting it out of your hair and clothes.After stirring, which can be done by hand, I keep it in the refrigerator where it no longer separates. Its ready to spread. I love the flavor which is nothing but peanut. No salt. Perfect. I eat it every day on homemade bread, low salt crackers, or low salt rice cakes. Yummmm.

I ordered this peanut butter because it is made with Valencia peanuts which are said to have less of a chance of having mold in them (which regular peanuts are prone to having) than other varieties of peanuts (due to the climate). I found the taste to have less of that classic yummy roasted peanut flavor - and more of an unroasted flavor - not sure if that's the nature of Valencia peanuts or what - because I do believe this peanut butter is made with roasted peanuts.Besides not loving the flavor (it wasn't bad, just not as wonderful as others I've eaten... the oil does not separate well. For many, this might be a great thing, but I personally like to drain off all of that oil (don't need a ton of omega 6 oil) - and I don't like soupy peanut butter... but no matter how long I let it sit (weeks), hardly any rises to the top, leaving me with - very thin consistency - SOUPY peanut butter. Nope - not a fan. It's also a bit more grainy than what I prefer - I like Woodstock's much better - although they don't use Valencia peanuts!!
