My (Bad) experience...
I've bought this monitor brand new from Amazon because it was praised by many online communities as a really good product and I really enjoyed its features and performance, that is until it stopped working overnight for unknown reasons, it just refused to power up or give any sign of life. I tried some basic troubleshooting steps to verify if the issues relied with the product or my computer/power outlet, nothing came of it, a quick Google search determined the problem was likely either a bad power supply or circuit board malfunction.I then decided to request a replacement and return the item to Amazon, (the process was was handled brilliantly and hassle-free), but sadly a month after use, the replacement is currently sitting on my desk, dead much like its predecessor.I never had anything of the sorts happen to me before but sadly this is my story with this item, wanted to give it one star but I feel like I might've just gotten really unlucky with a bad batch from Amazon. Also I'd like to leave a quick note, the day before I contacted Amazon to request a replacement I tried contacting ASUS directly about the item, by the time they got back at me, Amazon had already delivered the replacement monitor to me, so don't expect to get any valuable help from their tech support they will just tell you to ship the item, all expenses involved in the process will also fall on you.

Best low-mid budget 24" 144hz monitor
I love this monitor. Asus are an extremely reliable manufacturer and this is definitely the best low-mid budget 24" 144hz monitor you can buy at the moment. The 144hz works a treat with all FPS games, but don't forget that you'll have to enable the 144hz in your advanced display settings and GPU settings. There are plenty of guides online, so make sure you check them out when you're setting the monitor up.It's also definitely worth playing around with the colour profile on the monitor too. the default colours are a bit wishy-washy, so make sue you play around with them. I settled on the following and couldn't fault it.Splendid Mode: StandardContrast: 75Brightness: 65 (Increase if you prefer brighter image)Color Temperature: User (Red 96, Green 94, Blue 88)Disable SmartView and ASCR (dynamic contrast ratio) features while the ASUS VG248QE TraceFree parameter can be set to as much as you need. However, we did notice inverse ghosting when it’s set beyond 60.

144hz is great, but screen quality is terrible
Pros:- 144 Hz is insanely good compared to 60Hz, honestly if you're a gamer, make sure you have 144hz (also dont forget to set it to 144hz, e.g. go to nvidia control panel -> screen res -> set to 144hz (Don't be like Greekgodx playing on 60hz without realising it for over a year haha).Cons:- Screen Quality: TN Panel, so pretty bad. But also the colours are horrendous. Whites glow way too much, its terrible compared to the regular asus vg monitor without the 144hz in terms of colour. (as I also have that). IF YOU BUY THIS, YOU ARE MOST LIKELY GOING TO USE A CUSTOM COLOUR PROFILE. I am currently using one that I found online, that fixes the natural bad colours it has. However it makes the blacks much darker, so watching a movie or something means you won't be able to see much in dark scenes.- Screen goes blank plenty of times, I think this is due to the 144hz aspect, not sure why it does this, but after lots of googling, you have to pull out the power cable and wait a few seconds, and plug back in and restart your PC. (This only happens if your pc goes into screensaver mode, seems to trigger this problem in the screen)

Cosa c'é nella recensione?1. Confezione2. Cosa aspettarsi3. Pro/contro4.

Used to be a great monitor
I ordered this monitor to sit beside the VG248QE I purchased 5 years ago. Much to my surprise, the new one has a strong yellow tint.. I reset the settings on both of the identical monitors, changed cables, calibrated etc.. Nothing can hide the dirty yellow colour on the new monitor. I'm contacting ASUS support at the moment but may have to claim a refund and choose another brand because I see another reviewer described the exact same issue..
