Kirkland Signature Sugar-Free Calcium Soft Chews, 500mg, Caramel, 180 Count

I really enjoy these chews. Of course, I love caramel, which I like much better than the chocolate version of these chews. They are very chewy, so those with false teeth might have a problem with them. I take 3 of them in the morning with my coffee. The two flavors go great together. I think that it is a better way to take calcium than chalky pills. I take enough pills as it is, and the calcium pills are so big. I have to take calcium because one of my medications weakens bone, so I am very thankful for these chews. Moreover, more calcium goes directly into the system via these chews than via the chalky pills. I highly recommend these. It should be noted that the last bag I bought has more of a butterscotch flavor than caramel. I am not sure if this is a permanent change to their formula; I hope not because the previous flavor was far richer and the texture smoother. A word of warning: these taste somewhat like candy so they should not be left about easily obtained by anyone and everyone in the household. Too much calcium can be dangerous, especially to those who do not need to increase their calcium intake. Nevertheless, this is a great tasting chew and a delightful way to get your daily dose of calcium.

Odd. I have been buying Kirkland Calcium Chews from Costco for years. I couldn't find them in the store recently, so bought these. The wrappings of the individual chews are sloppy, so they are sticky and sometimes hard to open even when cold. They taste different, too - much more of a vanilla flavor than caramel. They are fine though. It's a great way to get that bit of extra calcium, and I always look forward to them as a "desert" after lunch.

In general I love all thinks Kirkland makes. It's the brand used by Costco and I love we can now get their products online. For someone like me who is too sick to drive or leave the house, I can still get their great products for a great price. So when my normal supply of store brand caramel calcium chews were out of stock, I looked around and decided to try these. Sadly, they are not anything like the normal caramel chews made by other brands. They are hard as heck to chew, they don't taste anything like caramel and well, they're just not pleasant to eat at all. They taste more like coconut chews than caramel. If we weren't on such a tight budget I'd have tossed them out already. I don't know where Kirkland went wrong with these but wow, they are just awful. Sorry Kirkland, you really need a new recipe for these.

These taste so great, and I love that they're sugar free. Taste like candy. Since I got half my thyroid removed I quit being vegan because I started craving everything dairy. I'm also in my later 30s when we women stop laying down calcium in our bones. I already take a calcium supplement but it wasn't enough & the thyroid functions to absorb calcium so I knew I had to get serious. So I eat the heck out of these candies & my dairy cravings have slowed a little. It just sucks that I am forced to eat candy to stay healthy. I'm just kidding about that. It's not terrible. These are yummy.

These taste really sweet, but in an artificial way. I bought them for my daughter because she cannot have milk products. Although she loves sweets, she hates these! Wasted my money.

I was surprised to find these calcium chews very hard and not very chewy, unlike previous brands I've purchased in the past. When complaining to the manufacturer, I was surprised to find they were originally purchased at Costco and needed to go back to them. Of course, that wasn't possible since I purchased on line. In all fairness, I did not complain to Amazon... had enough and didn't want to mess with it anymore. But I'm sure if I had, they would have resolved the issue should I have complained. They are still very usable, just REALLY hard.

These Sugar Free Calcium Chews taste great. My wife likes the chocolate flavored ones, but I prefer these caramel flavored ones. I had been using GNC's chews. These Kirkland Signature chews are far less expensive, they taste better, have a more firm texture and are wrapped tighter with foil (for what ever that is worth) than GNC's. I am no doctor so I cannot rate their medical value, but if you want a good tasting calcium chew I do not think you can go wrong with these.

My order arrived on a particularly warm day in Phoenix. Hence, each of the chews wrapping was consistently sticky, but seemed to be unaffected otherwise. I do not know if the Calcium quality was affected, but the flavor and consistency was not. I will try to be home for next order delivery!
