Many nice features and outstanding look
I want to build my own kitchen these days. Bought this because of its outstanding outlook to fit the aesthetic of libra that make it worth five stars to me. It also has so many nice features like it is easy to use, it is so powerful, and it is easy to clean. It saves my time and my money in long terms. I can’t believe that it makes things so easy. I never thought cooking was easy before I got this. I like to use it to chop my own pasta meat with onion and other vegetable. I am still working on figuring other functions. I might update in the next few months.

Easy to use, easy to clean.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This food processor is really time saving in prepping. I have been using the chopping knife a lot, mincing meat for burgers, pineapple for pineapple cakes and ingredients for homemade salsa. It works out great. It is also easy to clean afterwards. Some safety features you need to know, line up the arrow at the base to the cup and the cover in order for the machine to start. So far working good.

Big bowl that doesn't overflow
I bought for my daughter who loves to make sauce. My old one had the column in the middle and it always overflowed. This one doesn't have that so it is perfect. Nice big bowl and plenty of options as for tools. She didn't like the suction cup feet but put a towel under and was fine.

Better than expected
I ordered my Decen 12 Cup Food Processor on July 7, 2020. I waited to write my review until I had a chance to try it in a number of situations. I was a bit skeptical before I purchased as it had no reviews and I could find almost no information on line. However the specs looked good. An ongoing bumper harvest of Basil prompted the purchase so I could make large batches of Pesto Sauce. There was some trial and error as the instructions are not complete. Online videos of other food processors helped me figure out some things. It has suction cups on the bottom of the unit so it doesn’t move at all. It can take some effort to get it off the counter, the suction cups hold strong. I’ve made Pesto with up to 8 cups of basil leaves and the proportionate amount of oil, garlic and nuts. The Decen with the metal S blade made short work of it. However, it does produce a “rustic” pesto. It is not as smooth puree that you might be used to. We like it either way but a quick pulse in the blender will reduce the “rustic” to a puree. The slicing blade works well. It wasn’t until after a couple uses that I realized it was adjustable via a knob underneath the blade that allows you to adjust the thickness (not mentioned in the instructions). The shredding blade is reversible (again not mentioned in the instructions). You can do a fine shred or coarse. However, if you need something finely grated then after shredding, you can remove the shredding blade and put on the S Blade and pulse it a couple of times. I’ve done cheese finely and coarsely shredded and finely grated some Parmesan as well.Being a gluten-free house, I’ve not had the opportunity to use the dough blade (plastic S Blade). The “Chipping” or cutting blade brings out the one negative, for me, of the Decen Food Processor. The feed tube is too narrow. It is a 3”x 2” oval opening. This limits the size of items you can shred, slice or cut. Inconvenient but not a major issue with shredding and slicing – you just cut stuff smaller. However, it renders the “Chipping” blade useless. Whatever you want to make into fries has to be so small that they not practical when cut. I saw videos of other brands with much larger feed tubes capable of feeding a whole potato horizontally. Not so with the Decen. Since this was not a use that I planned for the Decen, it is not a major issue for me. If you need a food processor that makes great French fries or zucchini fries, this is not the one.One last point, I haven’t had a Food Processor for over 20 years so they may all be better now, but I found the Decen very easy to clean compared to “the old days”.Overall it was better than expected.

Can't make things smooth, just gritty
One of my key foods I wanted to make with a food processor was peanut butter. I was replacing a smaller cheaper (under $50) food processor that had broken after many years of faithful service. I was excited to have a new, more powerful one that could make more at a time. That quickly turned to frustration. This food processor did not turn over the nuts well at all. Additionally, the blade is too far from the bottom, so there's a layer of peanuts on the bottom that just get mushed down. I had to take all of the mixture out and slowly put it back in several times. Even then, the end result was gritty. A terrible in-between of creamy and crunchy. We then tried to make a cashew sauce of soaked cashews, much softer than just roasted peanuts. The result was the same, a gritty sauce.Very disappointing that something that cost 2-3x more than my previous bottom-of-the-line model does a FAR worse job. We've returned it.

Broken after third use
I got this for my wife. She wanted to have nicer things for the kitchen of our new house, and me coming from the restaurant industry, figured I could rely on this machine. When we cook, it's only for us two. My wife has not used this machine, bc she is mostly at work, so I have taken on all the cooking duties. I have used it twice, maybe three times. For the record, I have only used the same slicing wheel every time I used it. Today (Nov 21, 2020) we decided to make a pizza for dinner the next day, so we bought our ingredients, and a block of mozzarella. After a beautiful day of just being husband and wife, listening to our vinyl's, and living happy, I decided I would prep the ingredients for tomorrow, so I wouldn't have to do everything at the last minute. I used a knife to chop the veggies, but I wanted to show off the machine to my wife, and show her that it would work great on the cheese.IT BROKE. The gear in the center of the wheel split in two, making the wheel wobble at a high rate of speed. this then became loose from the shaft, and the gears grinded, and started to chip. There were plastic flakes (the size of ground black pepper) mixed in the cheese. I still give this machine a 3 star rating, and would give it a 3.5 rating, bc I know that the other blade worked great. But now I am leary to use it at all. IT's a good thing it was just $80, but knowing my wife, she will not get rid of this, so before I buy a better one, I might just have to use it again until it crumbles away. Sorry, I am not defaming the brand, it did it to itself. I'm just broadcasting it.

Good if you want to liquify your food.
I thought it would chop much better. Due to the power of the machine, it’s either too chunky or liquified. I tried making salsa and it did not provideMe with the proper consistency. I’ve been using it to make smoothies.

Defective our of box.
Arrived defective out of the box, I ensured all assembly and locking mechanisms were done as per the instructions and it wouldn't start. They should test these products better before they sell them, especially if the price tag is 3 figures.
