Great lunch box, does not leak, keeps food seperate and fresh

Ordered this for our son's 51st birtday, "Bentgo® Salad - Stackable Lunch Container." He takes a salad everyday to work. It's so difficult to buy for him. This seemed like a neat idea and the look on his face when he understood the gift, that was òr happy moment!Each feature was perfect for him and quickly he and his wife were discussing fixing his to go bowl the night before.IT WAS A HIT! I have 2 of these and they are great for lunch at work. I put the salad below and some combination of crackers and cheese, fruit, protein, and or dessert in the top tray. It never leaks and with all the different foods, I always look forward to lunch. The little container in the center of the top tray works well for salad dressing, but I do find that washing the salad dressing container by hand is best.

I was going to start this review with a salad joke but I wanted to keep it in a more professional level so I tossed it.Seriously though, I am really loving this salad container for my lunches. I've been wanting to take salads to work more often and this thing makes it so easy. It's the perfect size for a single serving and I love the insert tray for all of my salad toppings. It keeps everything fresh and keeps it from getting soggy. I feel like a gourmet chef as I open my salad and have all my toppings neatly arranged with my perfect sized dressing cup right on top. The aesthetic is spot on and while my colleagues haven't made as big a deal about it as they probably ought to, I can only assume it's due to the shock they must surely have felt when gazing upon such grandeur! This thing is easy to clean and all the component store together which was a big selling point for me. It s seems pretty durable and the tabs lock everything away nicely till lunchtime. Anyway, I could go on... really this is just the tip of the iceberg, but it's a salad box. You'll love it!

I've been in search for the perfect container to pack salads in for work. After many product disappointments, this is the one that comes closest to perfect.Pros:+ Size allows for a large enough adult portion+ Divided sections in top compartment to separate ingredients if needed (I use it separate dry ingredients, such as croutons from wet ingredients, such as sliced tomatoes)+ Sturdy material with latching lid that clasps tightCons:- Only the top compartment is leakproof so anything 'wetter' than salad leaves will not stay contained well in the bottom compartment. I discovered this when I tried to be versatile with this container and the Pesto oil from my pasta leaked right out into my bad.- Cannot latch lid without the top compartment (i.e. both layers have to be used together). Discovered this, when I tried to remove the top compartment and snap on the lid to only the bottom compartment in order to shake up my salad. It cannot be done.- Sauce lid does not snap closed. It stays closed just fine if fitted in its designated section with the main container lid latched on top of it closed; however, it cannot be used as a standalone sauce container because it will not remain closed on its own.
