Seems a bit flimsy compared to another filter I bought off Amazon earlier. Prev one I had noted three layers and edges were reinforced making a tighter seal. This one seems like a one-piece foam. It fit into the slot on a 2006 scion xB, so will see how well it holds up.

I was looking for a cabin air filter for my 2006 Scion TC but wasn't sure what brands would fit. Found this on Amazon and read some reviews to see if anyone tried it on the 2006 model. Figured I'll give it a whirl and hope it fits. Got it in the mail a couple days later and was very happy that everything worked out well. I opened the glove compartment and squeezed the sides to pull it out. Wasn't sure at first where the air filter went, it was my first time ever changing it. Notice a small rectangular white cover right in front of me. I opened it to find a good deal of leaves and dirt. Replacement was so simple, I can't believe how much auto mechanics attempt to charge you for it. If you're wondering how to put in the air filter, make sure the flatter side is on the bottom, they will wedge into the little slots near the bottom of the filter, keeping it in place and offering a nice seal. I almost put it in the wrong way since there were no labels to tell you which way up.

This cabin filter works well. keeps smoke smell out of car. A little pricey for what it is. Will buy again if I can't find a cheaper alternative.

Thank you, Jiffy-Lube, for offering to replace my cabin air filter (a decade old) for $30, which was hiding behind the drop-down false-bottom of the glove compartment. All of the industry-guides told me my car did not have one.The TYC 800017P 01-05 Ty Rav-4/00-05 E-Cho Caf (what a mouthful!) fits just fine and saves me about $20 every time I replace it, right after the big fire season, along with a similar air filter buy for the engine. Sometimes I'll leave the dirty one in when I get the oil change to see if they're checking...Amazon has a rating for "scent". This filter has no scent.

I stopped paying for expensive ones and found that the filter is just ask good as the name brand will recommend to friends and family.

I've got a 2005 and 2008 Scion tC and this is a perfect fit for the cabin air filter.Instructions for a Scion tC (and I think most Toyotas)1. To replace the filter, open your glove box and you'll see a hinge on the right side that's holding it up.2. If you remove the hinge, the glovebox will drop even more and you'll see in the back a tray that can be pulled out after pressing on a button on the left side.3. Take note of how the current filter is inserted because you want to make sure you put it in the same way.4. Discard the existing filter and insert the new one.5. Put the filter tray back6. Lift your glove box to the point before you removed the hinge and insert the hinge once again7. Open and close your glove box to test it's secure and just as it was before8. Enjoy clean air in your car once again

It's a nice filter. It did the job perfectly until I could receive my K&N Washable filter.

Not much to say, it's an inexpensive cabin filter for a Toyota Echo. Much cheaper than the FRAM version, fits better than the FRAM version (which is rather thick and requires some work to get it to fit in the tray correctly) whereas this TYC easily fits the tray snugly. Can't ask for much better than that.
