Very comfortable
Super comfortable right out of the box. It takes a few wearings to get them on easily. I'm still having a little trouble getting the second boot off. Someone recommended in a review to view the size chart. When I did I realized needed to order 1/2 size larger than I usually wear. The size is perfect!

Very comfortable boots
These might be the most comfortable boots I own right now. Very little break-in involved. Still some heel slippage, but it's not too bad at all. I've considered sizing down by a half-size, but I think that overall they are true to size.Easy to put on and take off, too!

Lucky if you get the size you ordered
One star deduction reflects the fulfillment of the order, not the quality of the boot. I understand the differences in AU/UK/US sizes. Twice I ordered the correct size and both times I received boots 3 to 3.5 sizes smaller. Aka I ordered a 7 but I got a 4 in the wrong color; returned them and got a 4.5 (with someone else's receipt from April 2022) instead of my size 7 order. Great quality boots otherwise.

Hard to get on/off!
I'm undecided on these. Right out of the box, they looked too small and I assumed I'd have to return them. That said, they fit great *once I can get them on*. The opening is really tight and the elastic doesn't stretch as much as I'd expect. Perhaps it's because I have a high instep, but my foot is really flexible and I still really struggled to get it in the opening and push my heel down. When I take them off, the insole comes out along with my foot. Not sure I am up for the fight put them on every time, when the whole reason I wanted these is to have an easy on/off boot with no laces. These were meant to replace my Sorel Joan of Arctic Chealsea wedges because I wanted something flat instead. A lot of Chealsea boots have sick soles, and I live in a snowy place.

Impossible to find correct size
The first one I ordered, I didn't realize was AU sizing, my bad. I ordered the size I get in the US, 8.5, and that ended up being huge. So I sent it back and ordered what should be my size according to their website. They've just arrived and I literally can't even get my foot in the shoe. I have no idea what size this is supposed to be. I'm giving up, which sucks because they look like fantastic shoes with quality material.

Awesome feeling out of the box
I don't usually leave a lot of reviews, but felt like I should for these. Keep in mind, I just received these, so they haven't been put through the test of time.I see a lot of people mentioning US vs AU sizes; the box I received is size 11 US. I ordered thinking I would be getting 11 AU but luckily they still fit. I typically wear 11.5 US and my toes do not quite reach the end of the toe box in these, so I would say the sizing is very close to typical US sizes. I feel like this is something the seller should address in the listing to minimize any confusion. Understand that these are more of a work style boot, so the overall boot is a little wider with a roomier toe box as well, these are not sleek streamlined chelsea boots. The leather is definitely on the thin side and pliable, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I already knew about this before buying the boots so it doesn't bother me.They are quite comfortable out of the box so I expect break in time will be little to none. I wouldn't say that these are totally flat bottom, but they don't have an annoying amount of arch support either. They also include what are basically footbed spacers, thin strips of foam that go under the footbed to tighten up the fit if you need it. The leather color matched pretty much exactly to what was pictured. This is my first pair of Blundstones so I don't know about the TPU outsoles crumbling, I will be sure to update this review if that ever happens.

Colorway help
I ordered the rustic browns which show a yellow trim on the sole and green Chelsea fabric. I then received a pair that matched the image. I had to return that pair due to sizing and ordered another two pairs to get the sizing right. The pairs that came do not match the color image and have an all black sole with a red Chelsea fabric. I’m trying to figure out how to definitely get the right color way when I return these boots?

Comfortable - Well Made
Some time ago I bought a pair of RS Williams handmade ankle boots which were/are supremely comfortable. However, they have a smooth leather sole and as such less than ideal for winter.I'm also getting a tad older and I find that I want a bit of cushioning as I'm doing a lot of walking - in most part to counter the lack of gyms being open where I work overseas thanks to the dreaded virus. So, I found these. The marketing blurb makes a big deal about these being traditional Aussie boots with all the PR bumph that comes with it. Fact is that whilst it may well be the case that some of their footware is made in Oz, most of it is made to spec in a factory in the Far East - Vietnam being where these are made I believe. That being said, the fact is that they are not outrageously expensive and that means that they can only be made where labour is cheaper. Fact of life I guess. So, quality. Fantastic. I did read other reviews and some were less than impressed. However, my experience is all good with these boots to my mind being well made and so far wearing very well indeed.Comfort is excellent. Really. I'm slap bang in the middle of a UK size 8 or EU size 42 and these fit both feet perfectly. I would add that my plates of meat are relatively slim and of equal size which, I know isn't the case for all. Given the fit, I would say that if you have hooves more like a Hobbit then these might be a tad tight for you.The sole is a resilient comfortable man made one that is good on wet pavements, i.e. I'm not slipping around constantly worried about ending up on my backside.Overall, for me these are a winner. Fit and finish is very good and the price entirely reasonable for a decent pair of boots.

Sturdy, great value
Dog walking... amirite? Mud, puddles, trees, sticks, beach, sea, etc...I bought a set of Chelsea boots from "a well known high street retailer" and they came apart after 4 weeks, so time to buy some decent boots.I did my research and looked at the well known manufacturers but they were all pretty expensive then I came across these Blundstones, which I'd never heard of. A bit more research showed that this is an Australian manufacturer going back 100 years and they are designed for hard wearing.Crucially, they were half the price of the rivals I'd been looking at (but still not what you'd consider "cheap").They arrived in a sturdy set of packaging and initial impressions were very good - bonded sole to the leather uppers (which is where the cheaper predecessor failed). It also came with a booklet giving a potted history of the company, which helps get you bought in to the ideal.Another nice touch is that they came with some additional insoles and another booklet that says "some boots can feel a little big so, if these do, just fit the insoles".I though that was a generous inclusion and I have taken advantage of it.On the topic of size, some reviews suggest that the boots can be a little "generous" for the stated size, and I'd agree. I'm normally a UK 11.5 but could only get size 11, for which I still needed to use the insoles. So I'd recommend getting a size 0.5 to 1.0 less than you normally would. Amazon offered a "try and return" service which helps the confidence. They are comfortable (although like all thick leather products they need a wearing in period) and, after four weeks of everything the dog can throw at them (literally!) they seem to be bearing up!Recommended.

... had these boots for 4 months so I feel like I can leave an honest and informed review
I have had these boots for 4 months so I feel like I can leave an honest and informed review. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. Throughout my life I have always struggled with my instep, forever pulling the muscles because of a lack of support and I also get attacks of Raynauds syndrome (extreme loss of blood flow in my toes / feet) Not in these! They are supportive, warm and durable in all the weather conditions I have encountered so far. Out of the box I treated them with a waterproofing spray but nothing else because I didn't want to lose the rustic look of the leather. They are now well worn in. It did take a while for the leather to soften and mould to my feet, and the elastic section was rubbing my ankles slightly at first but now it's like walking on clouds. They are very lightweight even with the thick sole; which absorbs shock very well. 4 months down the line and I have just waxed my boots with Mink oil for the first time. PLEASE NOTE; doing this will DARKEN the leather indefinitely, as it says on the Blundstone website. But my boots are starting to get a little scuffed and scratched, so it's time for some extra protection. The boots still have a rustic look, they are just much darker now, but I still love them to pieces and I can say for sure that I will be purchasing them again in the future. I have had so many compliments on them too. Overall one of the best purchases I've probably ever made!

Like them a lot
I bought a pair of these after a friend who has a pair showed me his while discussing Plantar fasciitis telling me that they make the condition bearable. The first thing I noticed when he offered boot up was how light they are.I took the plunge and bought a pair slightly dubious of the sizing due to previous reviews. I normally take a size 10 but ordered a size 9, this turned out to be a good move because even the 9 was ever so slightly large, but with a cushioned insole added and thick socks they have proved to be very comfortable, I also have wide feet and they are not squeezed at all.I've now had these boots for two months and have used them on a daily basis from walking the dog, to walking across London, long train rides, car drives and all day at work across all kinds of terrain and I love them. They don't cure Plantar fasciitis but they do make the condition bearable even wearing these boots all long, they also add a sense of security to your feet because they are sturdy, entering the gents toilet on a Friday night or walking in the rain hold no fear anymore unlike the sketchers I used to wear.My only grip would be the getting in and out of them which can be a bit of a pain unlit you master the technique of getting a finger through the looped tag in order to pull the them, eventually now after two months they come off easily. They are not cheap but they are well worth the money and I am very glad to have them as my everyday footware

Comfortable immediately
These boots are the best boots I have ever worn. They were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I bought a pair of DM’s last year and gave up trying to break them in after a year of blisters and pain. These Blundstone boots deserve the hype and are absolutely as comfortable as advertised.I am delighted with them.
