Thursday Boot Company Men's Cadet Cap Toe Boot

I bought these boots a few weeks ago. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to buy them in the size that you wear running shoes. Thursday says buy a half size down but don't.The boots are comfortable from the beginning and wear nicely making them more comfortable as you wear them. It's real leather throughout. It is stitched all around the boot, so I think they will hold up quite nicely. The finish is nice as well and the boots match color all around which is a problem that some other boot companies have. They go up to right before the ankles so I just wear ankle socks with them.

These boots fit well. I wear 11.5 (or 12 sometimes) in athletic shoes. These run a bit large so I ordered 10.5 and they fit like they were custom made for me. I would probably done well with a 11 as well, but wanted a less roomy, more dress shoe type of fit. I still have plenty of room to wiggle my toes.Leather is beautiful, styling is great. Workmanship and materials are above that of any other $190 boot, by far. Loving the Thursday Boot version of the classic Danite outsole. I look forward to many years with this pair of boots. It’s not my only pair of Thursday Boots and it won’t be my last.

I really love these boots. I own two pairs of the Cadets, one in tobacco, and one in sequoia. I love them both equally. I bartend at an upscale restaurant, which requires me to dress up somewhat, and I get compliments on my boots all the time. I even wear them outside of work with jeans, and a T-shirt. They were comfortable right out of the box, and the leather quality is top notch. They even keep that leather smell for a long time.I ordered a half size down as recommended and the fit was perfect.If you’re looking for a nice dress boot that you can also use as a casual boot, and won’t cost a fortune, then the Cadet is definitely a good choice. I have no complaints!

I was really looking forward to the Cadet boots. The color in person is inconsistent with the online pictures depiction. Online, the Walnut color seemed to look like a brownish tan, sort of a mix between Cognac & Brandy. Classy I thought. In person, they look dull and like spoiled mustard, and it was a big disappointment when opening the package. The boots style is very nice, the quality looks good, they fit perfectly, and felt rather comfortable when I tried them for a few seconds. I could tell they would need minimal break-in. The color is simply atrocious and will have to return them.

I have been looking into a pair of Thursday boots for over a year. Sorry hard to buy boots that you can't try on. I finally was willing to take the chance. Thought I would buy a pair of Thursday Presidents but don't sell them in tobacco color with normal bottoms (highly annoying). Did decide on the Cadets and these are the right choice for me. Had to put heel inserts in to improve feel. Have wore Dr. Martens for years and wanted something different. Overall boots look great and seem like will last. Feel like really nice but will take time to break in.Honestly seemed easier to order on Amazon than on Thursday website.

These might be the best pair of boots that I have ever owned. Great product. Perfect manufacturing work. Perfect fit based on recommendation to get 1/2 size smaller than tennis shoe size. I will buy from Thursday boots again.

I guess I gave into the hype and advertisement and I was wrong. After wearing for 2 days the shoe got so much wrinkles that looked awful. The shoe looked very impressive when it was brand new and I immediately thought about buying another one of their shoe model called Major but boy am I glad I didn't after wearing this one for a couple of days. I would like to return it but I doubt if Amazon will take it back. I know I'm not going to wear this shoe anymore. I guess I should stick to the one I know (All Saints). I have one of their shoes for over 10 years and it still looks awesome and rugged. I wish I could say the same for this garbage.

These definitely run large and I had to go, not a half, but a full size smaller than what my normal shoe size is. That said, the material is the highest quality and the fit is super comfortable (once you get the right size).
