Up to then coffee was just hot water from rusty pipes, and I did not like it.But the first time I was sent south, to Baton Rouge, La, for some work, my contact in the plant said that "I size up Yankees by how they drink coffee, so I made us a fresh pot. Sit down, sip a cup, and tell me how you like it." It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! When I said so, with a big dumb grin, and added "I'd be a serious coffee drinker if I could get this up north." He said to just be sure he had my address right, and he would see to it.This coffee is RICH not strong, FLAVORFUL not bitter, and SMOOTH no bite, and it's just reasonable to fight over the last drop in the pot.There are other companies supplying Arabica with a bit of Chicory, but this is the best. My French press is by far the best way to brew any coffee, but Keurig does a good job with one cup at a time, and clean up is a lot easier. If you never really enjoyed coffee, take a sip of Community Coffee with Chicory, and have it delivered to you front door; and enjoy one of the finest treats of the South.And my southern co-worker was true to his word. Morning coffee

This is a medium-dark roast coffee with chicory. I like the convenience of the k cup for quick brewing. I like New Orleans style coffee with chicory and I’ve tried several brands.I like this coffee, but it could be better. It is supposed to be medium-dark roast, but it tastes just medium. Darker roasted coffee generally goes better with chicory. The chicory flavor in this coffee is also weak. So overall, this is acceptable for a quick pod-brewed coffee, but it falls a little short of expectation.

I grew up on chicory coffee. This did not disappoint! Great flavor and great price!
