I’m giving this 5 stars, even though it’s not super rain/water proof, I don’t know that it was marketed as such. If rating as a rain jacket, I’d have to give it more like 2 stars, because it’s really NOT waterproof! I bought this jacket for a trip abroad to London and Paris, and it honestly was perfect for that! It was warm enough that the cold breeze was kept out and honestly did a great job against the wind, but also not too warm that it doesn’t work for a nice spring/summer nights/fall jacket! It also looks and feels like a much more expensive jacket, and is super cute! Definitely recommend, but not if the main purpose is as a rain jacket - we got poured on in Brighton, and even with an umbrella, this just seemed to soak up every little bit of water and with no dryer accessible, stayed pretty wet for the next two days when all we had was our air bnb to hang it up in for drying off! But definitely would recommend for everything else!!!

What I seek in a outerwear depends on durable zipper and snap closure for on-and-off ease and protection. I'm 5'5" , weigh 150# and have a small frame with a 38 C bust. Based on others' reviews, I bought a size M, which leaves room to layer a sweater. The sleeves are a bit long on my short arms, though they could be easily turned up or hemmed. Had I gone with the suggested size L, the shoulder seams would sag. (If you are petite, perhaps refer to others' reviews.) The length comes to my upper thigh, so there would be little coverage in a downpour. The adjustable cord inside the jacket did not provide much of a flattering fit; however; I have a 30" waist. The style is more anorak than trench, and utilitarian more than fashionable. I chose khaki, and it's a taupe hue rather than camel tan or beige. I was surprised by the lining material's feeling like a soft flannel, creating a cozy layer on damp, chilly days. Uses for travel or casual wear are accurate. Choice of clothing and accessories could elevate the look as the material and structure of the jacket belie its inexpensive price. Overall, it's a bargain for frequent use that won't outdate.

I took this coat on a safari trip to Africa. Space was very limited, and this waterproof hooded jacket took up very little. At various times, it served as a coat, a blanket and a robe. It looks good and fits well. I would definitely buy this winner again.

This raincoat is very stylish and cute but heavy. It’s too hot out now to use. We’ve had a lot of rain in New England so I wore it but I was sweating. Also, I thought it would be thinner. I bought a small and weigh 130 lbs and 5’4” so the fit is perfect. The sleeves are spot on. I recommend this if you need a raincoat for fall/winter.

It doesn’t look exactly like the photo. Photo seems longer and slimmer, but it’s a well made coat. I like the Burberry like lining. It’s warm. Perfect for airplane and train travel and very light rainy, cold days. It’s not really a raincoat. It’s pricey for a no brand name coat. Rated 5 stars because it’s comfortable. You can wear a thick shirt and jacket underneath a size small.

I typically wear a medium and ordered in my usual size but fit more loosely than I prefer even with the option of the drawstrings. I really liked the jacket and for the price it seemed to be pretty well made so I returned the med and ordered a small. The small fit perfect but unfortunately came with a damaged snap so I have to return it as well and is why I'm only giving 4 stars. I really like the jacket but now have to decide if I want to reorder a replacement since I'm concerned about the item coming damaged.

Runs large. It has a draw string but it sits too high and it's still larger in the shoulders and I have broad shoulders and extra material all around. Not sure if I'll keep it but the quality and style are nice.

Bought this jacket for a trip to the UK in June and it was perfect for a light chill and rain. Compresses down to next-to-nothing, so very good for a light packer, and I got compliments whenever I wore it. The inside drawstring is a little high (closer to the bra band area), but it still gives you a bit of a nip in the waist. I highly recommend it--great value for the money!

j'aimais la couleur qui est conforme à celle de l'annonce. Attention a bien choisir votre taille. SI vous hésitez entre deux tailles je vous conseille la plus petite mais un effet plus pres su corps.S'il pleut beaucoup l'eau passe mais pour une pluie légère c'est bien.

I really like the fabric on this coat. The outer fabric has a bit of a sheen to it and the plaid inner fabric gives the coat a rich look, haven't really been out in heavy rain yet so not sure how waterproof it is. Fit wise is good, the only thing I dont like is that the drawstring through the waist sits too high up, almost under the bust. For me this isn't a big issue as I'm not fond of drawstrings so just leave it undone. Overall a nice coat at a fair price.
