These installed easily and sound nice.

I installed two pairs of these on a 20-ft runabout that I use on a freshwaterlake. I'm driving the speakers with a new Kenwood stereo/CD player. Thespeakers replaced non-marine speakers the original boat owner had installed.The original complete stereo system didn't have much volume, and those speakers'cones had disintegrated over time.These Kenwood speakers are very sturdy, and being marine grade, I sensethey will be more durable than the speakers they replace, in fact, I believethey will be the last speakers I ever install on this boat.Installation was very easy. The screw holes lined up exactly with the oldones, and I was able to use the exact same wiring as the old ones. I'llupgrade the speaker wiring at some future date.I am particularly pleased with the speaker volume. I can hear themperfectly, no distortion, even when I'm running on open water at 35 mph.

Good product, especially for the price. I bought these to replace another set of speakers that had corrosion issues because I have another set of these exact speakers and they are doing very will in holding up and keeping good sound. They are not the best sound speakers out there, but they are great for marine application and I have been very please with them.

Did not come with freaking wire

I installed these in my pontoon boat. They are connected to a Jensen head unit that puts out 7 watts rms per channel. I tried three other sets before these and these are by far the best sounding speakers in the price range. They are true 2 ways with nice highs...the bass response is pretty good and I am sure that amplifying them with a little more juice would provide even better sound clarity. They look really good too.

Bought about a year ago, water has got into them + sun and still sound good.

Scored these under the "used" section for cheap. They were an open box product. Speakers were great, some of the mounting pieces were missing, but I was replacing old speakers and didn't need them. HUGE improvement over the previous DUEL speakers I had in my boat. These sound great! Crisp, clear sound! I love it, best purchase I've made for my boat so far.

Installed 4 of these with a Jensen MS30 marine radio on my Proline 20Walk and they sound awesome, can't ask for more for the price, no distortion and even good bass response. Extremely satisfied. Hope they last, I will come back after summer for a revision.

I bought these to replace (4) 5.25" speakers on my boat because someone noted they were a little small for a 6.5" rating. That is true; even though it says the installation hole is 5.125" it is actually 4.9 and was able to squeeze into the existing holes. They look good and sound fine.
