Use a grinders to expose raw metal
I used this for a ground on my system, 2000 Toyota 4 runner . Drilled a hole small enough to get the bolt through then zipped with my cordless impact after preparing surface . It’s well worth the money .

Does what it's supposed to
Does what it's supposed to nothing more my system doesn't sound any better or hit harder BUT I have a very clean and secure ground connection with zero interference

Works at a price. .
It does work well to ground amps. It isn't anything special functionally that you couldn't make at you local hardware store for a fraction of the price. I had to install it upside down because the nut on top was to tight to get off without damaging the threads. Again it does work properly still. If for some reason you were grounding your amps in open view it would look better than anything else. .

It is a great way to make your ground connection
5/16" bolt and hardware are made of stainless steel. It is a great way to make your ground connection. You just drill a 5/16" hole and remove the paint using a wire wheel on a drill before installing the bolt. Do not pay more than 10 dollars for this kit.
