Consider your State’s requirements
The media could not be loaded. I had issues registering this as my state requires it for outboards. I was able to create and “official bill of sale with the SN on my computer, but they really wanted a certificate that looks like a title etc with a watermark. I recommend that you consider this. Had they said no at DNR, I would have been forced to make a decision to get a refund..what a pain in the ass that would be or I would have just risked riding dirty. I reached out to the company and ask that they please just provide the customer with a certificate with the SN for this who need it.Otherwise I am happy with its appearance. Looks like a Mercury..I’m sure folks will have to look twice and I may be the first to register one in SC. I have not used it yet and had planned to do a review later, but I felt it important to help some folks out.I tested the motor out in the garage following the break in instructions using a 25:1 mix. Ran good. I’ll post an update once I get it out on the water.Update:Took it out and ran it at the lake. It did well. In my 16ft Lowe Jon, we were able to get 15.7MPR with 4 people and gear. I think it might do 20+ if I went solo. I will post an update eventually when I make it back out.
