Easy to use and better than plastic litter
This litter works so much better than the plastic litter. Also comes with a lot more than what you get this plastic litter. My cat liked it better and it was easy to put the urine in the vial.

It really works!
This is the perfect litter to use when a urine sample needs to be collected for the vet; the urine pools on top of the litter and the included bulb syringes (think mini turkey baster) make it very easy to collect the urine and store it in the vial prior to bringing the sample to the vet. I've had to use this litter twice with our cats and the different texture from their regular litter didn't bother them at all. The litter comes in 3 small bags and I did have to use all of them both times.

Able to get a urine sample from my cat!
This product was pretty great. Luckily my cat didn't try to cover his urine because idk if it would have absorbed it then but this worked great to get a urine sample for the vet! It's just messy to clean out of the box after but well worth it - highly recommend.

Excellent for collecting urine for testing
I needed a urine sample from the vet. My cat jumped into this little as if it was his normal clumping clay litter and urinated without any issues. This litter left ALL the urine floating on the top and I was able to draw up with a syringe almost half a cup of urine (I only needed 5 mL). It served its purpose quickly.

COULD WORK BETTER
Ok, so I have a male cat. Vet wanted a urine sample but his bladder was empty and she told me of this alternative. I was skeptical when the package arrived. There are three packages of sand, about a cup each. And vials which are not needed since the vet provided one for sending to the lab. Most cats are fastidious about bathroom habits. Mine is no exception. I had doubts so I poured all three bags into a shallow, small litter pan. There was still almost no sand in the box. You cannot add regular sand to increase the volume b/c it won’t work. I left him overnight and kept my other cat upstairs with me. This morning I came downstairs and looked. He had tromped around in the 1/2” or so of sand at the back of the box but had not gone. So I played the waiting game. He did eventually urinate and it was easy to use the SYRINGE which the vet provided but was NOT in this kit. So in summary, the product is a good idea BUT why so cheap? Why not send enough sand for this to work without a struggle? And why not send a syringe? Profit margin, I know. Too bad this company is looking to make a few more pennies than actually provide a solid product. And if a cat was ill, holding their urine would only increase their discomfort and probably be painful as well. I hope this company will get their act together because this could be a really great product.

Useful litter for urinalysis testing
We were very thankful we could get the urine sample for our vet. My 13 year old cat can be picky about litter and this worked great for the sample. There was a good amount of litter for the box and was easy to clean up afterwards.

This WORKS!!
Absolute life saver! It is SO hard to get my cat to the vet. He becomes incredibly stressed, upset, scared, aggressive, etc. He is also incredibly smart and I was certain he would refuse to use this. BUT this litter worked like a charm and allowed me to monitor his health at home. I do recommend getting the 10-item monitor. I only purchased the 4-item initially and it did not catch his UTI. Luckily the local pet store had the 10-item one that did catch the UTI.
