Bought this mount to use on a 40" TV in MBR that I wanted to be able to 'pluck' off the wall, open the door, walk outside and place on the wall right next to my hot tub. It works perfect.First, the construction is very sturdy. The 43 lb. limit is based on how you mount it (don't want it to pull out of the wall) rather than on the material or design of the mount itself. I wanted better sound, so I installed a mini soundbar below the TV using standard soundbar mounting brackets that I attached to the lower lugs of the TV mount. Works perfect.The wide range for swivel and tilt is awesome. While watching from the hot tub I am well below the TV, but I can tilt it down so far that it presents a great viewing angle. The tradeoff for this extensive swivel/tilt range is that the TV has to sit out pretty far from the wall surface.Also important is that the stiffness of the swivel and tilt pivot joints is adjustable. If you place the TV on the bracket and it 'droops' (tilts forward), just increase the tension in the pivot joint and it will hold rock steady, but you'll still be able to tilt it down or up if you need to. Same for side-to-side swivel.Well made, easy to install and adjust, wide range of motion. If you want to frequently move a TV between two locations, I can't think of a better way to go. And I think it will handle a newer (not too heavy) TV up to 55" no problem, if the bracket is attached to the wall very securely.

This is a perfect mount for my 40" 12 v TV both interior and exterior. It's made easy by the inclusion of two mounting plates. The unit is well constructed and was easy to assemble and install.

We bought a 40" smart tv (I believe off the top of my head) for our camper, never had it hard mounted because we would take it down for travel anyway. We found while we were home and camping season was over the tv worked out great for our 2 year olds play room. Now with this mount we have a secure place in her room and the camper when needed and its super easy to go back and forth.

We have ours at our camp site and it allows me to take the tv on and off the mount with ease each day and night.

This mount seems to be perfect for my needs. Wanted to put a TV on the front porch on occasion and wanted something that was small and made setting up and taking down a TV easy. Put the wall mount on front porch post. It is small and unobtrusive. Mount on back of TV slides into and out of wall mount easily. Both wall and TV mount seem to be sturdy and well made. Pleased with this purchase.

This is perfect for home. We put up mounts over the outdoor bar, hot tub, and garage. Then we store the TV in the garage on the mount, but can bring it out and move it around when we are entertaining. It's been great.

Used it for mounting my TV on my patio.

There is a lot of play in the horizontal pivot that cannot be removed due to a design flaw.Even with the bolt tight it flops around.I will be returning for a refund.

I wish it had a bit more range of motion but works as described. Mounted it to my deck and can watch TV outside easily.
