These LED strips are fantastic! The USB power option makes them incredibly versatile, allowing me to connect them to a power bank, phone charger, computer, or TV. cool blue cob leds give off a mystic glow to my e-bike. at +5v with usb-a connector, easy connect to my e-bike aux power connector. as with most led strips, need a sharp xacto blade to separate the 3m paper strip with our removing the 3m adhesive. led strip is rated for splash proof and appears to stick well. will probably by more for other e-bikes.

I bought for the specified color (red at 620-625nm). This is the red light wavelength which is preferred for preserving night-vision-- as it will not cause your pupils to constrict. I mix observational astronomy and camping, and had one intended location inside my camper-van for the two strips that come with purchase:- Inside, on the rear-facing overhang before the driver's compartment, to mark the transition from camper portion of van into the driving compartment. I am constantly hitting my head when ducking under, and the red light shinning away, rearward, from the driver's section ought to be unnoticeable to me when seated up front.As these are brighter than I anticipated, that led to two additional benefits and the now planned use of the second strip:Since one strip will be on the rear-facing edge of that overhang behind the driver's seat (intended only to warn my poor head of the obstruction in the dark), this results in the red lighting directly over the dining/work table. This is where I will have my star atlases, and work up my plan for the night. No more hand held flashlight filtered with red film.So, now (because of the unexpected brightness) I want to use the second strip overhead and just inside the rear double-doors, as that is where I store and assemble/disassemble my telescope tube assembly, equatorial mount, and tripod.I'm most pleased with the color, and USB connection.WARNING! I had just plugged in one reel of lights to test, and moments later read that you should always unroll before doing that. They mean it. The reel was very hot when I reached to unplug it. No damage, but likely could have been.Unrolled and plugged in, they seem to dissipate heat well-- barely warm to the touch.The packaging, not just the details on the Amazon site, ought to include this warning.The 5v USB version I have is drawing 1.7 amps. That is for a full (uncut) string, and so is a total of 8.5 watts. That explains their unexpected brightness.

It is a good product but. Be cautious with this product, as it emits strong UV rays. The seller is unaware of the risks associated with the violet LED when marketing it to consumers. At the very least, the seller should include a warning label.

Nice leds

LEDs are nice and bright. However, the adhesive is extremely weak (painters tape has a better hold).

Great quality and they work well for my projects.

I've used over 50 of these strips for projects now and have not had a single issue. They are brighter than most others at this price point and the quality is more than I would expect for the price.
