If you want good looking buy this otherwise...
Why buy a retro microwave if you want digital with seconds. It does exactly what it says on the tin. As for moaning about stickers being hard to remove, yes it is a pain but i cleaned mine off in 5 mins. Be honest guys, it looks nice thats why you bought it, if you want to go into catering then get an expensive and practical microwave for extreme cooking!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
Absolutely disgusted. I bought this microwave with confidence because i have always thought of Russell Hobbs as a name you can trust. It was not cheap and i expected it to be good quality for the price but i as very disappointed. The microwave is noisy and slow , it vibrates badly when used and after only 8 mths of very light use the door has corroded causing the fuse to trip in the house and now the microwave will not work at all. Never again will i buy a Russell Hobbs product and i advise you all to think twice. My previous microwave was £19 pounds in Asda sale and lasted me 8 years without a glitch. My lesson has been learnt.

Form over Function
this product seems all form over function to me - you can accurately use anything. Two minutes is the first actual amount of time you can turn dial too and that is in itself very inaccurate. This was going to match my kitchen but I would not recommend for use, although it does look good I would get something a bit less retro looking and a bit more useful if I knew about the ridiculous guessing dial idea that RH has here

Broke within 3 weeks
Bought as gift for my grandmother, the microwave looked brand new but the dials didn't work after like 3 weeks, my grandmother lives alone so it wasn't used very much before it broke. Also the front of this microwave is made out of very cheap plastic

If you like retro, this is it!
Lovely machine. I can't comment on it's longevity as I only got it two days ago, but it looks good and does the job. Not quite sure that I understand the problem with having to go to two minutes then back for anything less than two minutes. Let's face it, you have the same problem going forwards as well as back, you don't have a 'seconds' option either way. Unless you are doing some pretty precise cooking, then this shouldn't be a problem and to be honest, if you are looking to be doing precise cooking, then you should be buying a digital microwave. I also don't understand the negative comments about the label on the front. Okay, it would be nice if the manufacturer could have attached a more user friendly label, but 30 seconds with a bit of white spirit and the flat end of a wooden skewer and it was off. No lasting damage to the machine and not need for a hammer and chisel! Come on folks, if you're going to complain about something then make it something useful that can people can use to make an informed decision on whether or not to buy.Bottom line - if you want a good looking microwave that does the job at the price, then you could do worse than this.

Great price, nice, simple, compact microwave.
I wanted a small, simple microwave and this is exactly that. Compact, rotating dials, so really easy to use. The one comment is that there is a sticker on the front which clarifies instructions that you then need to take off. It is above the dials. It doesn't come off easily. By cleaning it off it has taken off the red coating of the front of the microwave. I guess you get what you pay for but really? A sticker that is meant to be temporary but can't be removed without taking the coating of the microwave casing. That's pretty silly.

Looks good, old fashioned deco style matches our cream kettle and toaster
I like the cream colour of this microwave which matches our kettle and toaster. It fits into the small surface space we have. I love the deco curvy shape and it looks fine. The controls are not digital and they will probably not break so easily. The only negative is that it is a bit small, but fine to heat up left overs or thaw things out of the freezer for a two person household. I purchased it for our holiday home and am very glad to be able to heat up soups etc without always using saucepans.

OK for Warming and Defrosting
Nice looking microwave easy to use but the timer is useless! It starts at two minutes and gives you instructions how to go to the two minute setting and then turn the dial back for seconds which doesnt work and you have no idea of how many seconds as there are no indications for seconds. Its ok for me but not an ideal purchase if you use a microwave for serious cooking.
