The D110 system comes complete with everything needed to remotely monitor one tank or cistern up to 1,000 feet away. The maximum distance can be doubled to 2,000 feet using the AQ930 Omni Booster Antenna or up to 6 miles away using the AQ920 Yago Booster Antenna kit (both ends). Should you wish to monitor more than one tank or cistern (up to 6 maximum) simply purchase additional T110 Tank Sender Units and pair to your Aquatel D110 Display Unit within minutes. The D110 is suitable for tanks from 1 metre (3.28 feet) to 4 metres (13.12 feet) in depth. Designed to be a fully "DIY" product, it only takes minutes to setup and install, so no extra installation costs.

Junk, junk junk!
Will not communicate with display and only 20 feet away from sensor. Added the larger antennas on both ends and still nothing. Good luck getting any help as the mfg. does not respond. Blew a lot of money on this piece of junk!

not reliable
Lost connection with a water tank, which is only 50 feet away. I've bought the booster antenna and replaced batteries, still no connection. Not a reliable device! Don't waste your money!!

Great Tank lever monitor
I purchased this item for my 3,000 gallon water reservoir that holds water for my home. My well does not have the gpm that I need to supply water for my house and irrigation. I have tried many types of water level gauges and have not had much success until I bought this unit. I drilled a 2 inch hole in the lid of my reservoir and mounted the tank level monitor. My wireless unit is inside my house and I can monitor the levels in my reservoir tank at all times. My reservoir has a float switch to turn on the well pump to keep my reservoir full. Before I installed this unit we had a problem with our well pump and we did not know that the reservoir was going empty before it was too late. Now with the Aquatel D110 I have set alarms so I know if the tank ever is less than 50% and also when it is full at 100%. The only thing I would recommend is if you are trying to go over 100 feet that you get the additional signal booster antennas. My tank is only 100 feet away and in clear line of site with no obstacles between the units and have 2 bars on the signal strength out of 4 bars. If I take the gage to the opposite side of my house with more obstacles in between I loose the signal. I am going to add the booster antennas just for better signal coverage. I have had this unit working for just over 2 weeks and I am very pleased with its easy setup and performance. I would highly recommend this unit. Not sure why the other reviewers had problems. I will do an update later if I have any problems. One additional comment is that I searched the webb with the name and model number and was able to save just over $100.00 from rain harvest systems.Feb 15,2017: Follow up on review. It is still working great, even through the almost zero degree winter we have had. The monitor has been under about 3 feet of snow most of December, January, February, and it has given me accurate reading all winter long. I still do not understand why others have had troubles. It has keep me informed as to the water level of my 3,000 gallon water reservoir I have that services all of my water needs for my 3700 square foot home and irrigation. My well pump keeps my reservoir full between the 85% level and full. This has been the best monitor I have had for my home water system to monitor it's levels. Would buy again if needed.

It works but there are glitches
First the good news. Our tank sending unit is 700 ft away line of sight on a hill away from the receiving unit in the bedroom window. It has been a godsend to know the water level without having to climb that hill and walk that distance. It is accurate too. It was easy to set up. Without this unit, life would be much, much more difficult! However, the alarm for when the tank is full is either inaudible or fails to even sound so that function is useless. I set a timer to keep an eye on it. Sometimes it reads that the tank as 100% full when it isn't. The next reading corrects this. Sometimes I have to unplug and then replug the base unit to reconnect it to the sending unit. Why is disconnects itself is a mystery. I agree that the company in NZ is not that responsive to these issues. I did get a case number about the alarm and they wanted me to send the unit back, but because we rely on the unit so much, I did not send it back without having a backup for the interim and no telling how long before the issue might have been resolved.

More of the same issues
As already noted by others, the connection range is terrible, even with the booster antennae. More concerningly, on some random days mine wouldn't connect at all, even when held one foot apart. I tried troubleshooting over the phone and went as far as sending it back to the head office for repairs, but even they couldn't tell me why it was malfunctioning. In the end I cut my loses and purchased the same kind of system from a different company. It cost $160 more than the Aquatel one but the new system works perfectly. It looks like the Aquatel product works for some people, but therein lies the problem - when something is built cheaply you run the risk of either ending up with one that works or one that is broken.

I bought one thinking it would solve my water problems ...
I bought one thinking it would solve my water problems. It worked for about two weeks then quit monitoring my tank (unable to get a reading displayed), changed batteries....nothing. The result is my tank went dry and burned my pump.Forget getting help from the corporate office in NZ, they won't respond.
