Why I Rated the Philips O'Neill CRUZ Headphones a Definite 5!
1. These headphones fit perfectly to the head. Light but you can't shake them off! They are great for jogging!2. The signal coupling to the ears is comfortable and extremely efficient. It REALLY shuts off outside noise!3. The headband is pitched to alert the user if put on incorrectly!4. The wiring is a new approach. It doesn't tangle! It is a light flat strip with the left earpiece identified by three raised dots and the right smooth.5. The stereo is crisp and accurate. Left, right, and the subtle increments in between. Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Beethoven's 9th all sound better.6. This is a whole new approach to provide excellent performance and at a reasonable price!

They don't sound bad
They don't sound bad but feel cheesy and pinch your head. Push glasses arms in also for added discomfort. I cannot speak for durability because I cannot wear them that long.

Comfortable but lacking mid/high
The good: very comfortable on ear. Just right on pressure and back to front tilt. Construction is simple but adequate for the price. Not isolating but still good exclusion of external sound. Flat cable. The bad: very heavily biased toward the bass. Mid/high clarity missing but can be equalized up.Were it better balanced on the mid/high range I'd give it a 5 for the price.

Uncomfortable But Durable with Good Sound
This is my second pair of these. The first pair were black and received in 2014 as a gift. Since they're the same thing, just with a different colour, I'll be basing this review on both.First off, these are easily the most durable headphones I've had to date. The old pair lasted from 2014 through 2019, and aside from a small crack on the headband and the expected breakdown of the inner foam (thanks to the cloth covering, nothing came out and it generally kept the right shape while losing firmness), they stood the test of time. I used them often and abused them by tossing them around, sleeping in them, etc. Ultimately, what broke was the connection where the two cables become one; the protective rubber cracked a bit and the two wires within touched each other while the headphones were in use. That was it, they were done for immediately as this shorted out the entire left side of the headphones, as the inner wires do not have insulation and need to remain separate from each other. The pink pair I have only had for a day, and it's very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time more than a few minutes. The black pair was also like this initially, but after a couple of months they got used to the lessened tension I needed and seemed to relax into a slightly more comfortable fit. However, they were never particularly comfortable while wearing my glasses, as the fit is just too tight.Sound quality, however, is impressive. It has rich, thumping bass and nice midtones with clear treble. They're also amazing for listening to ASMR, as I do at night, because it picks up the whispering voices and soft sounds very well.In appearance, I can't say I'm enthused with the pink but it's the best colour available these days. It's very much Pepto Pink, with an odd red gradient on the cans, but I knew this when buying and I'm not going to rate down for something I knew when purchasing. They do, however, look very childlike with the bright pink and I'd likely be a little embarrassed if I wore them in public because it makes them look like a toy. Keep that in mind if you're considering the pink pair. (I chose them over the white because I don't live anywhere near surfing so having a white pair that says Surf Shop would be obnoxious.)This particular pair seemed to have something wrong with the plug at first use. It was picking up static when jostled, plugged, or unplugged. However, I was able to fix it by twisting the plug around a few times while playing music. The static hasn't happened since and the sound quality is as good as ever. For the price they currently go for, these headphones are a good purchase. However, despite thinking I'd be loyal to this brand and style forever, I think I'm kind of over them. At the same time, I purchased the Ausdom AH2 bluetooth/wired headphones, and they're far more comfortable with comparable sound quality (but a bit less bass-heavy). If you need cheap headphones that are durable despite the price and you don't plan to wear them with glasses or too often at a time, I'd say go for these. Otherwise, there are now far more comfortable headphones in the same general price range with the same general quality of sound.

Won't fit in my iPad with survivor case on because cord plug is at a 90 degree angle instead of straight.

Good buy!
Awesome headphones for the cost! I got these for six bucks and am thrilled. I have a rabbit and it chewed the cord to my $120 headphones so I got these as a temporary replacement. These are surprisingly comfortable and have good sound quality. I'm used to over the ear high quality headphones, but am please with these. Can't beat them for the price! Happy camper and love the color! Only gripe is the photos are not of the actual headphones. They are very similar but have been photoshopped. The real headphones look visibly cheaper. The plastic isn't the best, but for between 6-20 dollars, what do you expect? Still, worth it, and don't over pay.

NO REGRETS ON THIS PURCHASE
The headphones have worked with all my gadgets and since I am brand non-specific, taht is a great thing. I listen to music on to my Apple Ipod, then take calls on my Samsung or Blackberry and I've used them on my laptop and each time, they have performed to standard. The sound quality is great- I love the isolated feel I get when I put them on. Since I got a hot pink pair, it looks like a fashion accessory too!The only thing I wish they had is volume control on the remote.

It's ok.
It's supposed to be designed to not mess up at the connection part so quiclky. It went out quicker than others that I have which do not make such claims.
