The wood pole is attractive with a ball on the end, however, the greatest feature is the swiveling attachment points that keep the flag unfilled, regardless of wind direction, etc.Just doesn’t tangle! Great purchase.

8 year Update (summer of 2022). Still 5 stars and still recommend this product after owning this for 8 years. We finally replaced this wooden flag pole after 8 years of being outside. It was showing it age (cracks, fade, and mold). Not bad for an item that is outdoor 24/7. I am sure this will last longer if you stained or sealed it every year. We didn't.BLUF:1) See pictures. Amazon has it for under $20. It is a little expensive but definitely worth it because the holder is heavy duty/high quality.I am an OEF and OIF veteran but never flew the American flag unless it was during 4th of July. The main reason is because we live in a very windy part of Oklahoma. It is so windy that the local power company installed windmills on all the hills near our development. So with that my biggest concern was finding the right flag pole that will survive in our "harsh" conditions.One day my wife bought me this flag pole and told me that she think it is a good idea if we fly our American flag 24/7 to display our pride and patriotism (we are both naturalized citizens). I mounted the flag pole into our metal pole bracket and didn't think it would last because of the windy condition here.Surprisingly, after 2yrs of 24hrs/7days a week usage the flag pole have held up very well. The pole is not warp or show any cracks.In summary, if you want a high quality product that will last in the outdoors and under harsh weather conditions (heat, wind, etc) then look no further. You need to buy this product.The features I like about this product:1) Real Wood2) Looks pretty especially with the capSome Application Tips:1) The wood pole might be a little smaller (in diameter) when fitting into your bracket. If this is the case then just wrapped the pole in a few layers of tape (masking, duct, electrical, etc) and this will give you enough tension to snuggly fit the pole inside any bracket.I hope you find this review helpful.

Solid, but I wish it was more hefty. If it's an evergreen tree it's the LIGHTEST tree i've ever seen. Super lightweight pole but still sturdier than any other flag pole ive found on amazon.

I love this wooden pole and was replacing it as my "old" pole was needing to be replaced. It is easy to hang flags from as the flags attach easily. I was happy to find one just like my old one. A good find.

Very nice wooden flag pole to put on the outside of home. The description is a little misleading. It appeared to have a house pole holder with the purchase. I was surprised when one was not in the box. The wording of the description shows the pole holder and gives the impression that it was included. I purchased the flag pole to be used for this Veterans Day (Friday). I have the flag now and the pole....., but not pole holder to mount of the house. Very disappointed and the add should be specific that the item DOES NOT COME WITH A POLE HOLDER.Had to return the item. The clips that hold the flag to the pole were broken off the pole on the bottom and missing from the top of the pole. They need to have a better method of holding the flag to the pole. Those parts are cheaply made and will allow the flag to break from the pole. The pole is imported to the USA.

Not very happy with my new flag pole. I do feel a lot of my negative issues (and other reviewers) are a result of the poor description for the product.This pole is only for certain types of flags that have a “sleeve” on the left side of the flag. You would clip the top of the flag to the top using the included clip and the flag slides over the plastic tube. So if you have this type of flag, this should be a very nice product.Note – That is why there is only one clip on the top section of the flag under the top ball.My flag I purchased was the wrong type and has two grommets. So while I can use the clip at the top of the flag to hold the top part of my flag via the top grommet, It leaves the flag hanging on the bottom. I was however able to semi rig this. I removed the lower screw and removed the tube and lower bracket giving me a single simple flag pole. I then just used zip ties to attach it to the pole using the top and bottom grommet. If I find it still moves, I may need to drill a hole through the diameter and run the zip tie through that so it does not slide up and down.As far as the wood is concerned, I actually found it attractive and feel it is heavy-sturdy in comparison to my old one. Hoping it stands up to the weather.Giving it three stars as if you have the right flag this is a great item. Two stars get removed for the terrible picture showing the upper mounting and lower and the lack of clarification as to how this is very flag specific. (My box also came crushed, however, that is not an issue for me as my flag pole was fine.)

I purchased two flag poles recently. This is one of them. It is made from a single piece of wood with a special plastic piping sleeve which is said to be anti-wrapping. The anti-wrapping feature seems to work very well as the flag on this pole has never wrapped around the pole. The flag on the other pole has wrapped around the pole several times but has unwrapped itself all but one time. I hang both flag poles on opposite sides of the same tree with the mounts about 10 feet above ground level and the poles installed at the 45 degree angle pointing upwards not horizontally. I think the anti-wrap feature is very good and preferable; however, the extra cost is quite high. I managed to buy the second pole on sale and saved a lot of money doing so. That second pole is a two-part pole with a central metal fastener.

Diese Fahnenstange sieht einfach nur genial aus, der geringe Preis macht sich nicht in der Qualität bemerkbar. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter kein Problem

Solide Fahnenstange, wie auf dem Bild beschrieben. Leider sind oben unter dem Knauf komische kleine Löcher. Da meine Zeitplanung keinen Rückversand zuließ, habe ich das in Kauf genommen.
