The marketing on this does not explain you need to buy the pump separately $69.00. Surprise ! This makes this cute container very expensive.

Easy to use
I purchased the glass vs. plastic for several the reasons one being that I can also use them in the oven so they are multi purpose, and glass regardless how old it gets does not retain odors.Opps, I guess the purpose of this review is to let you know that it's sealing function is great and it IS; you'd be happy too.

Not Ready for Prime Time
Advertised as "use in refrigerator". My experience has been that the seal comes loose in my refrigerator at a temperature of 37 degrees. I'm very impressed with the pump, very impressed. I will continue to use this to store bread on my counter top.

Secure, substantial
This glass container with plastic vacuum-capable lid does in fact keep contents slightly longer than without vacuum. It has substantial glass as well as a waffle structure lid, a combination that secures food safety.

Excellent for storing herbs or peppers
Bought this to see if vacuum storage really would keep my herbs and peppers stay fresher longer. Well I guess not everything you hear is a lie because after several weeks My ginger and peppers have stayed fresher and longer then without

Doesn’t keep very much suction…
I Have a vacuum sealer machine with a hand held vacuum cord. These containers are a bit disappointing since I thought I would be able to get a solid vacuum seal, alas, these do not hold vacuum very well.

Everyone should have these
Get the zwilling vacuum sealer for the containers. Everyone should have them instead of those cheap plastic containers, would give 5 stars if price was a little lower

The lids are fragile, and there is no replacements to buy.
I bought a dozen of vacuum containers in one month, which shows that how good they were and how much I liked them, until 3 lids cracked in a row without any reason. But more troubling is Zwilling doesn't offer reolacement lids. So I have three more glass bowls without lids.

Excelente Producto
El producto llego en tres días, en perfectas condiciones. El sello que hace es muy hermetico y cumple muy bien su función y el precio es muy razonable. Compre en la Comer un recipiente zwilling con sello rojo y no es tan hermético.

El recipiente hace un sello hermetico que con el paso de los dias, permanece cerrado, hay otros que con el tiempo pierden el sello y se abren
