Little shine and droplets from the junk nozzle. Poor product.
Went thru a lot of prep on my hood, I used the Dupli-Color EBUN01007 Universal Gloss Black and things were looking pretty good for a novice like myself (when it comes to automotive painting) I waited the 30min after my last coat of paint and attempted to apply this clear. What a terrible clear coat and total disappointment. There was little shine and droplets from the junk nozzle left a very poor finish. Now I'll have to sand this back down and start over. You get what you pay for! I do not recommend!

Does not spray evenly
I'm usually pretty lenient on product reviews but this product was consistently bad. Out of 4 cans; all of them spit in mid-spray for no apparent reason once the can was less that 3/4 full. This caused an uneven and unpleasant result on the hood and top of the car I was using it on. At first I thought it might be because I was spraying a horizontal surface but then it did it on vertical surfaces too. Sorry; I can't in good conscience recommend this product. I had the same results with the black paint of the same brand.

Stay FAR away from this
I honestly don't know how this product has 4 stars. After sanding, and priming my product, I whip out Dupli-Colors can and am already thrown off by the nozzle. Nothing like a Rust-Oleum can, the nozzle looks WIDE open with no means of attempting to even spray evenly. However I press on. Unfortunately my concerns were correct, after vigorously shaking the can for 1-2 mins and keeping it at room.temp, the spray came out chunky and runny, and God help you if you aren't wearing gloves, unless you like looking the color you're spraying cause this will get everywhere else too. I wish I could return this, and somehow get my money back because this is the most useless can of paint I've had the displeasure of using. Not to mention it does not match my car's color after several coats, with 20 min intervals in between. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I will not be returning to this product, and will have to stick with a color red that isn't simply labled "Tornado Red"Buy Rust-Oleum Cherry Red and save your money. Already looks better with one coat. See last picture.

Very Good Color Match
This is a very good match for the paint color of my '97 Honda Accord. I used it to paint the trunk lid which had faded and the clear coat was peeling. After lightly sanding with several different grit sandpaper, all the way down to a wet sand with #500 sandpaper, I cleaned the area several times with alcohol and masked the area. I did not sand through the primer coat at all. I used this Dupli-Color paint to spray the entire area with a few coats (took two full cans). I let it dry for several hours and then after a light wet sanding with 500 grit sandpaper, I topped it off with Dupli-Color clear coat. The finish looks great, the shine is back and the color matches really well. When spraying the paint, I put on several light coats to prevent running. I suggest looking for a good price on this type of paint. The amazon price fluctuates a great deal and I found it online for $5.50 including shipping.I don't know how long my DIY paint job will last but for about $40 in materials it was worth it. The car is almost 20 years old so I just wanted to get a little better finish and prevent the paint from fading all the way through to metal and start rusting. Mission accomplished.
