Cool Little Gadget!!!!!
It works really well!!!!!! I thought it would be a cheap made in China product, but it actually works! I used it on my bed mattress and it had been months since I put the bed sheets and liner back on. It was fuzz city!!!!!! After trying another method and not panning out, I searched and found this as one of the popular go toos here on Amazon. After a couple people answered my question that it does work on bed mattresses, I got it and used it- it looks SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!! Don’t have before and after pictures but I am so happy it took pretty much all of the fuzzies off!!!!!! Yes it does work on bed mattresses!!!!! It is not expensive and pretty cheap solution, I like that you don’t have to wait to charge it like the other option. Just put new batteries in. Note- if you have a really bad fuzz situation like I did- you’re gonna have to empty out numerous times. However even if you don’t have a big project like I did, you will have to empty out maybe once or twice, depending on how bad the fuzz balls are. This fabric shaver is a nifty little gadget. Pretty simple and straightforward to use. A really good way to get clothes looking fresh again.

Works great, very easy to use
Wow! I’ve been thinking about getting one of these for a while but I was skeptical it would work. Went ahead and took a chance when it was on sale for Prime day. And I’m blown away at how well it works! I spend about 5 minutes going over the fabric on a recliner chair that had been getting quite pilled, and it looks brand new! Next up, the couch!

Works great
I use this all the time to shave pilling and fuzz balls off my wool sweaters. It works very well - sweaters look great after shaving. Caveats: you need patience to slowly go over the whole surface; you need to frequently clean the stuff from the inside of the shaver, but it's not difficult to do; replace the batteries if shaver slows down. Finally, the motor does eventually wear out. If cleaning the inside of the shaver and replacing the batteries doesn't work, you probably need to order another one. But the Conair fabric shaver is not expensive.

Saved My Sweater!
Conair's Fabric Defuzzer is a must-have for everyone's laundry room. I tested this little gizmo out on the sweater that I wore the day I met my fiance. It was horrifying to look at: the sweater was covered in lint and was pilling awfully. I couldn't wear it like this, but I couldn't bear to part with it for sentimental reasons. The Conair Defuzzer is battery operated. No real point in telling you this, except to say that this device does not come with batteries. You will need to have 2 AA batteries and install them. Look for the sticker inside the battery compartment to know which end faces which way when you drop in the AAs.I did not adjust the distance controller when I used the defuzzer for the first time. I used the device "just out of the box" with its preset settings. You want to make sure you work with the garment laid out on a smooth, hard surface. I used the kitchen table. I began by making short, light strokes going down "the grain" of the fabric. I had to apply a bit more pressure because my sweater has a cable knit pattern that creates areas that are higher than others. It worked insanely well! I started to think about everyone in the house..... they all have closets.... they all wear clothes... Could I get others to give me THEIR clothes to fix? Yeah, it was addictive for the first ten exhilarating minutes. I watched as the defuzzer transformed my sweater from unwearable to wearable! I kept working in this manner, making longer strokes down the garment to remove the pilling and lint. If a section had a stubborn piece of lint, I didn't make a sweep over it, I gently but firmly pressed the defuzzer down on that spot until the offender was lifted off (about one or two presses did the trick.)My sweater has delicate, rope-like knit sections that give it a lacy look. I was uneasy using the defuzzer on areas this delicate. I couldn't wear a half clean sweater, though! I took those areas and laid them over the top of my open hand and very gently used the defuzzer to remove the lint.NOTE: You want to make sure that any loose threads are secured or avoided altogether, otherwise the defuzzer may accidentally pull the fabric and make it worse. On a heavily pilled garment, you'll hear the units motor starts to slow down a little bit. You may notice, as I did, that the unit is not working as well. This is the point where you stop, turn the unit off, and clean the lint out of it. There's nothing wrong with the defuzzer, it just needs the fabric remnants cleaned out of it. Pull down the detachable lint collector and shake it out. Grab the stuff that's blocking up the opening to the unit, too. There will probably be a lot stuck there. When you're all finished restoring your garment, make sure to clean the defuzzer out one more time. I used a q-tip to gently get the lint that was clumped up inside the unit. Next, go outside, turn the device on, and let it blow out any remaining lint inside that you couldn't reach with the q-tip. (Make sure you don't have the unit pointed toward your face. I didn't do that. I SWEAR I didn't do that....) Place the lint collector back on the device and wipe the outside plastic part down with a soft cloth before storing it in its original packaging and putting it away. You may want to remove the batteries as well, and store them in a plastic sandwich baggie, placing those in the box, too, if you think you won't be using the defuzzer for a long period of time.Overall grade: for the money spent, A+! Wish I'd bought this sooner!

Works like a charm!!!!!!!!!
Just finished using this Conair Fabric Shaver and Lint Remover and am so happy about how well it works. My sofa has a polyester fabric and was definitely showing areas of "pilling". I would keep switching the cushions around because it was so visible and NOW can't tell which cushions had the problem. Wonderful to have my 2 year old sofa back to looking brand new. The shaver was super easy to use and the price is awesome for the quality.

So useful
I use this on my Lululemon clothes as it sometimes pills on underarms and between thighs, also works great for delicate sweaters. makes them like new again.

Works well enough, but...
I bought the battery-operated version of the product. I had one (different brand) that was rechargeable, but, since it's not something that gets used often, it seemed like any time I wanted to use it, it needed charging and I ended up waiting several hours for it to charge. With a battery operated unit, if the batteries run down, I just pop new ones in and I'm good to go. Now with that out of the way, I give this only three stars. It shaves the pilling off sweaters (what I use it for) just fine, however, with this particular model, not only do you have to empty the lint catcher, you also have to unscrew the screen and clean the lint out from around the blades, otherwise the motor bogs down - and you pretty much have to find a little brush to do that job, because it's pretty hard to get all the lint with just your fingers. Oh, and be careful you don't slice your finger while you're doing this. I've owned several other fabric shavers over the years that weren't Conair and I never had to go through all that to clean them. They don't last forever, so when I needed a new one, I decided to go with a brand I recognized. Now I'm sorry I did. Just a PITA!
