The Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 4: WCBS FM 101.1

I love all these CD's. They are my favorite with all the songs I grew up listening to. I had most volumes for years and realized I was missing this one. So I had to have it.

I received the cd and it plays well. The only problem I had was the case was broken. Oh Well...

The Ultimate Christmas Album, Volume 4: WCBS FM 101.1 is one hour, ten minutes and thirty one seconds long and was released on September 1, 1998. Of the four volumes that I own on cassette; Volume 4 is by far the best one of them yet. It has the all-time best duet Christmas song on it: Peace On Earth\Little Drummer Boy perform by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Also you have some humor at the end of the cassette with Christmas Dragnet as perform by Stan Freberg. The other 23 songs on it done by the artist who sings them are great as well. This is a must have for your Christmas collection. With the exception of this past year(1999), from '94-98 New York's Oldies Station's Ultimate Christmas Albums have become an annual holiday event. Each collection contains music we've all grown up with & some songs are rarities you might be hearing for the first time. Vol. 4 opens with Elvis' golden chestnut, Blue Christmas, & also included are Merry Christmas Baby as sung by Otis Redding, plus a hard to find version of Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy by David Bowie & Bing Crosby. I could go on & list every tune but won't, you'll just have to take my word for it that this is a great collection that you'll enjoy for many Christmases to come. This month Ultimate Christmas Album 5 will be released, and I anxiously look forward to adding it to my own collection. Get these collections & you're sure to have a really Cool Yule. Highly recommended.
