Original Replacement Suction Cups (Original)

While this did arrive on time, I am at a loss to understand the route it took. I live in PA. This shipped from MD to WA to MD to NJ to MD to PA. WHY???? It could have been delivered much earlier if they just shipped from MD to PA at the beginning. As for the cat perch itself, I had a hard time getting one of the suction cups into the PVC piping. One went in very easy, the second took me about 5 minutes to seat it completely. No issue with the suction cups yet. I also bought the Pet Ami fluffy dog blanket small (24 X32 in) to line the bed. If you fold it in half, it fits well. My two cats love this perch. However, I am not sure that both would fit on it at the same time. My cats are 10 & 12 LBS. So to make sure that they can both enjoy the perch, I have bought another one to put in the window next to the first one. that way they can both enjoy the view.

I love this kitty cot! And so do my cats! This is a high-quality product, made in the USA. There are other models from overseas vendors that do not compare- i’ve purchased one by accident recently, and returned it immediately. In regard to quality, the little bit of extra money is worth it! These suction cups are robust, and can hold two of my cats at once… Because everyone loves this window seat!

PLEASE read!I have felt it important to update my previous post....as it could possibly create an unwarranted shadow over the many positive aspects of this product.I've kept the perch up since the time of purchase, in hopes my cat would come to like it more). Unfortunately, this has not been the case.BUT NONETHELESS, during this interim period in which I've had it mounted on the window, there are several OBJECTIVE considerations I believe could be significant to anyone contemplating this purchase.And this is all the more pertinent, ESPECIALLY since my original feedback was written BEFORE I had time to assess this perch from all angles. Moreover, previously my comments were very subjective-from the vantage point of one short experience...So with this in mind, I trust the addendum below will bring balance to your assessment.(**And I must pause to share, I have never gone back to add to- and/or retract- any review [with E-bay, AMAZON or the like]...May this fact alone add worth to these additional, deserved observations)RELECTIONS:1] The STRENGTH of the suction cups which support the perch are stronger than any suction cups I have seen in any product...The one I bought has been in a large window that takes the brunt of dramatic weather changes-(i.e. the large span of temperature changes on the window). Even when you might suppose the grip would be affected-(as often seen with suction `holders' of products used in the shower, kitchen sink, etc.)-be assured this is NOT the case here. The suction cups NEVER came off-whether or not it was hot or cold outside.Do not worry about that---YES, THEY STICK!2] This perch would blend with any room because of it's SUBTLE DESIGN of neutral colors. My old perch for too long has been an eye sore-with it's bulky fabrics and obviously cheap look of plastic. The way this perch is positioned on the window looks really "classy" - which is one of the factors which drew me to it.3] Not only does it's APPEARANCE "win" over the common plastic 'snap on' perches...but the "life" of this perch, I say with no doubt-will beat most competitors. When comparing and contrasting this perch to those brands which have been "out there" for so long which wear down remarkably quickly-[not just in appearance], but in the wear `n tear category-I predict with confidence this will come out as a winner!Echoing my previous comments-as an owner of a few of the "cheap" perches I have owned over the years-it has always bothered me that the fabric pilled, tore, &/or loosened much faster than they should have. Additionally, not only have these others become an eye-sore, but the MONEY previously wasted was frustrating-since those types of perches seemed to need a replacement much more frequently than should have been the case. While my cat has not used the perch advertised here as much as I would like...one look at the QUALITY MATERIALS used and the SPACE available for your cat to stand, sit, or sleep-definitely sets this perch in a place above the "crowd."5] While in some ways the wires used in this perch could bring about skepticism...I will emphasize the wires are very strong, not a drawback when it comes to being a design feature, and additionally further enhances the "BLENDING QUALITY" in any room.Thank you for taking the time to read these notations. But having other cats-I can see how this would work perfectly (not just for the cat-but for the owner as well)!Another note-as well, Customer Service was excellent-best I have ever experienced with any Amazon interaction!

Love it! Super easy to set up and my kitten loves it. I didn’t measure my window (d’oh!) so the large one is too big for the window I wanted to put it on, but it’s worked out nicely to put it on my sliding glass door. With a little “catification” I was able to create a way for her to get up this high and she can see over our fence where all the cars and people go by. It also gives her a nice view of our kitchen and living room so she can keep an eye on us.Of course she is a kitten so she has already tried chewing the wires and the PVC pipe as well as scratching the hammock. But so far, so good: I think the materials really discourage her from keeping it up for too long and they seem sturdy enough to withstand it. I didn’t need to put a blanket on it for her to start using it, but I think I’ll purchase a small one to make it a little more comfortable and warm.Last night, I was easily able to detach the non-wired suction cups so I could close the blinds. And this morning it was super easy to reattach them. So I measured my window and found that the small cot will be the best fit for it; I ordered it right away since I know it’ll be easy to set up and a big hit with kitten.This is a must have for apartment dwellers since we can’t really nail things to the wall. This is going to allow me to give my kitten an extra level up from the cat trees I have in front of my bedroom and living room windows. Although this one is a little more expensive than others out there, it does seem to be constructed from more durable materials. Given how my kitten immediately started clawing and biting it, I’m glad I didn’t go with one of the others that might not have withstood that.Last piece of advice: MEASURE YOUR WINDOW FIRST! 😁 It all worked out for me but especially if you have a window that slides open horizontally, you have to measure just one side of the window: this won’t be stable enough if you try to use it across the two parts of the window since the two sides are not flush with each other. I found that one of the suction cups just didn’t stick as securely because of it, so I used a different window for this one and ordered the small cot which will fit on the sliding part of the window.
