Exactly what my wife was looking for. I was a bit concerned about it getting damaged during shipping, but there were probably 15 layers of bubble wrap on it. It was a bit lighter in weight than I was expecting, but exceptional quality and beautiful.

I purchased about 6 of these bowls in various sizes. They look very beautiful when they arrive. Once you start using them, you start to notice how fragile they are. These are MIXING BOWLS and I intended to use them as mixing bowls. After just 1 use with an electric mixer, there were scratches all inside the bowl where the mixer bumped the edge. This has never happened with ANY other mixing bowl that I have owned. Mine were so old, and I didn't have a variety of sizes, and I thought these would be perfect, but I was wrong. Maybe they just make them cheaply and charge a premium price for them now. Maybe these are not mixing bowls, but some sort of decorative item, if that is the case, they should be sold as such.

I'm an amateur bread baker. I purchased another Mason Cash bowl for mixing but I needed a bigger one for letting my breads rise. This was the perfect bowl. Just wish I had purchased the 2 bowls years ago. Works much better than stainless steel bowls, which I've been using for 20+ years.

I bought this for my dad after his bowl was broken during a move. He was heartbroken. He is an avid bread maker and absolutely loves it!
