So far so good!
The Braun Thermometer came to my house in the most beat up box. Even the original packaging was really beat up so I was afraid it wouldn't work! To my surprise, the instructions were easy to follow and the thermometer works really well. It also works quickly. I am very satisfied with this product. I would definitely recommend it to any parent. Maybe I wouldn't recommend it to you if you were giving it away as a gift since it came to me so beat up.

Nice, but don’t use this for Infants
We bought this for our newborn, thinking it was top of the line, and the most accurate thermometer.Our now 2 month old had a bad day with lots of crying and fussing, and I checked her temperature. It read 100.4 which is considered a medical emergency for newborns.Hours later at the hospital, the ER Doctor explained to us that no-touch thermometers are great for adults, but for infants you will get false readings because their faces are flush with blood while, and after crying making it inaccurate.It’s a nice device, but it’s not for infants.

Very inaccurate
Tried using thermometer about 20 different times and had about 20 different readings. Highly inaccurate, especially for the price. Will be returning.

This thermometer is low by more than a degree
An older thermometer is at least a degree higher than this one. Also substantiated by thermometer at Emergency Room of hospital on the same day.
