Hotter than a Florida Summer Day
WoW! I was downsizing my grilling experience and figured i would need to settle for less when I went with a two-burner grill and man was I wrong! I have hit almost 600*F and the ability to sear my steaks properly is a great thing. The drip pan is very large, easy to take in and out and cleans almost with just a wipe. The grill grate has thick bars [I recommend not using any steel or abrasive stone cleaners on these] and makes a great grill mark on our meat. The second level grill is perfect for keep items hot or “rare” when grilling other items to well-doneness.There is plenary of room down below to get a tank in and out with a very sharp door to trim out the look very well. The biggest “plus” are the wheels. They are commercial grade casters and make moving my grill in and out to use smooth and easy. The best wheels I have ever seen on a grill for under $500.The assembly was easy [but not short] and required a 2nd person for just two parts and the directions made the process smooth and simple. I hate directions, but these worked for me very well indeed. The shelves can be dropped to the side for easy and slim storage and when in place are very sturdy and substantial. Another plus usually not found in a grill under $500.One final note, this grill not for big shindigs, but makes a great addition for the 2-4 person family or gathering. Plenty of room for my needs.

Char-Broil Performance 300 2-Burner Cabinet Grill is full of nice features not found on others
UPDATE 6/5/18: Have used this grill multiple times a week since the original purchase early Spring. Have seen simialar on sale for much more than I paid and this grill has performed flawlessly for chicken fahitas, chicken breasts, burgers and two inch steaks. Highly reccomend - have no regrets about this purchase with over three months heavy use. Even the automatic lighter still works. For $177, it is same medium end grill you would pick-up at a local store. This is a two burner grill, not a five, so the price is less and requires less room to store. The side shelves do fold down and I got a $20 quality "Two Burner" Generic Cover to place over it protecting the grill from weather. My grill arrived in the box and had three small dents in the black metal from shipping - not noticed until the box was opened and all pieces layed out. The dents are not super noticeable as they are on the flat black tin - the black tin is thin as possible and flimsy. Will be fortunate to get two years use of of it. Upside: The Grill 's Fire Box and Stainless Steel Lid is good quality thick metal and the grates look very good. This grill also came with four nice rubber wheels (not plastic) and the front two have locks on them. Assembly took two people 35 minutes to complete. The firebox also has a removable easy to clean grease trap under it to keep the gas tank and lower area free from drippings - not all grills include this! The Stainless Steel Grill Lid is much heavier and has a thermostat in it - gives ithe grill a quality feel / look. The smaller grill area is actually a benefit as the grill heats-up faster, heat is more consistant and uses less propane compared to a larger grill. Still plenty of room to grill / serve 4-6 people. No cold spots with both burners were on and enjoyed using the smaller space as it is easier to keep an eye on things.Be advised NO propane tank ships with this - must purchase one locally. Paid $177 Grill + $39 for a full gas cansister (surprisingly found at local U-Haul Dealer) + $25 thick black cover + $12 grill brush = $253. Will be pleased if get two years use of of it, but the grill does do a very nice job grilling meat and vegetables for 4-6! Nice features not found on similar grills include: Heavier Stainless Grill Top w/ thermostat, Grill Box / Grates / Burners make grilling enjoyable and give a very good sear to meats. A metal "match-holder" is found on a chain to the side allowing safe lighting of the grill if the automatic push-button lighter stops working. Very nice removable grease trap is easy to clean. Quality rubber tread (not plastic) wheels with two locks make for easy smooth, quiet mobility, Overall am pleased with first three uses of this grill. After using, do not notice flimsy black tin as much as I expected. If it lasts, will consider upgrading to five stars from four.Char-Broil Performance 300 2-Burner Cabinet Liquid Propane Gas Grill- Stainless

3 Year Review - excellent grill
3 Year ReviewWe bought the charbroil grill 3 summers ago and it’s been great. We downsized from a 4 burner grill and it’s been no problem cooking for 5-6 people at a time. It is a very efficient on propane, we grill all the time and rarely have to refill. This grill is a real champ at cooking just about anything. We do burgers, steaks, chicken, shrimp, pizza… you name it. It heats up fast, so it’s great for quick meals or reheating a rotisserie chicken. The grate is good about not letting food fall through, which is awesome for doing vegetables and shrimp. It’s fairly sturdy and has no problem supporting a cast iron skillet. As far as durability goes, it’s made of sheet metal and feels more than solid enough. I have occasionally had to retighten screws on the handle and shelves, but nothing major.I leave my grill outside on an uncovered patio with a cover on it most of the time. It still looks fairly good. I have had to replace the burners and igniter on the grill after 3 years. It works like new now.
