Adjustable Sunglasses Strap/Lanyard Sports Glasses Retainer for Men Women and Kids Color Combos Pack of 2

My sunglasses/glacier glasses have side guards which I like. But to make them work properly, I need to be able to snug them up against my face. But when I take them off, I want to loosen the keeper cord so that they hang on my chest, ready to put on and snug up again. I was out for a winter walk, had these on my chest with the cordlock about halfway to the end. Wanted to put my hood up, and realized I needed more slack in my keeper, so grabbed the cordlock and pulled back. Based my experience with other keppers that have a cordlock with two holes, I pulled back firmly on the cordlock. It came off in my hand. Hmph. My bad. But rather than going back to one of those with a two-hole cordlock - one that's a lot harder to adjust - I put a small split ring on the end of the keeper, as shown in the photo. Now I have an easily-adjustable keeper but one where the cordlock won't come off if I loosen it all the way.

I take my glasses off 50-60 times a day, maybe more. A few years back, I started using those "librarian" thingies to keep my glasses nearby when I took them off. But increasingly, I've found that manufacturers are cutting costs by making the loops on the end from cheaper materials. And more and more, they simply slid off my glasses. I tried a few "sports" glasses straps. But most were either too short or too bulky where they slid over the temples. These avoided all those pitfalls. Plenty of length. And slim enough to feel comfy behind my ears. Love 'em.

These seems to work fine with my plastic frames. I was surprised and disappointed, though, that the "wine" colored one in my set was really just standard red, which I probably won't use as a result. The other one is black, however, and that one will be fine.

I use these on my oakley M frame sunglasses and they grab the arms of the sunglasses well and don't slip. The strings are actually a little stretchy so it makes them very comfortable to wear without being too tight.
