These were easy to install and work perfectly. No complaints.They lost a star because there were no instructions with the struts. I looked at the part descriptions and there are some measurements given, but they are impossible. I installed one and found that it simply didn't work and the door could not close at that point. I then eyeballed the locations of each end, rounded the measurements and installed. Worked great.So, common sense is the best installation guide. Don't count on the translation from the mfg...

No instructions, no instructions — not how to size them nor how to install them. Waste of time, money, and packaging.

Replaces this on Ikea horizontal cabinets. Only time will tell how long it will last. So far so good.

GC tried every way possible to open these. Pressure so high won’t work!! Sending back.

used these to hold open swing up cabinet doors on a van build. Seem to work fine so far, been installed for 3 weeks now. Took off 1 star because there are no instruction to install them, had to look up general instruction on the web.the soft open is over stated they are not very slow opening.
