The color and sheen look nice on printed projects
I find myself using nGen more than any other material now. It is the ideal combination of layer strength, overhang neatness, and ease of use. I have already run 4 rolls through my Taz 6 with no issues. The color and sheen look nice on printed projects.

you'll love the look, but strength is not its strength (ha)
Bought and used the silver metallic, resulting in very precise prints that look great. Must be careful to consider which directions you need strength; bonding between layers is not as strong as with, for example, ABS. But it has none of the shrinkage problems of ABS. It's a bit expensive, so I usually use it only when I can't get my print right with other materials.

Toss HIPS and switch to this for the easy jobs
What a nice upgrade from HIPS! Much smoother, with no curl creating adhesion issues on the bed (though using the glue stick is a bit of a pain). It is just as easy as the other "beginner" filament, with better results.

Beautiful glossy 3d prints with relatively precise dimensions.
This produced some of the most attractive and precise 3d prints I've made so far. The result was glossy and dimensionally accurate; I used it to print pieces which fit together something like a jigsaw puzzle. Good stuff!

Ooh, shiny
I like this filament a lot. It's glossy and feels better than HIPS. Works great with my Lulzbot Mini using the profiles in Cura.

Five Stars
My favorite filament, very strong, no warp at all on all prints I did so far. Very predictable results

Great for Taz 6
Works perfectly in the Taz 6

good filament
The filament seems to have a lower tendency to stick to the heated glass bed with glue on it. But other than that it is a good filament.
