DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS. This is supposed to be a plug and play light, the instructions have zero instruction. they instructions actually say that if it doesn't work to contact professional help(its because they wire them backwards for some reason and you have to take the harness apart). The light comes with 2 wires that you are supposed to plug into your fuse box, but the wires are 2 feet long. How they think I'm supposed to connect to the fuse box with 2 feet of wire per light. I shouldn't have to splice and rig a to make it work as intended. I already have a fuse line added I could tie into but I refuse to splice 2 additional wires because they cant provide 3 cents worth of wire to make their product work.

Lights are great. They are bright and the fit is good, but there is an issue in using it with the 2001 Dodge Ram. This product has the halo and fog LEDs negative leads connected internally to a single external negative lead. which should be connected to ground. The fog and halo lights are then connected to 12 Volts through appropriate switches.When installed in a vehicle that switches the 12V supply. the halo light will provide a daytime running light when the ignition is turned on and the fog light will be controlled by the fog light switch.However, the 2001 Dodge Ram controls the fog lights by interrupting the ground side of the circuit. To make the light work, the positive leads must be connected to 12 V and the negative lead to the fog light switch. This means that the halo and fog lights can not be controlled independently which really diminishes its effectiveness.There are two ways to resolve this issue. One is to separate the internal grounds in the light. Haven't attempted this.The other way is to add a relay that can be controlled by the ground switching fog light switch and in turn, will provide 12 V to the fog light.

Look great, daytime led looks perfect. The lighting at night is unfortunately not so good... it is brighter than stock lights with stock bulbs, but nowhere close to stock lights with aftermarket led bulbs, my led bulbs that I have in stock lights are 9800lumens combined and these lights put out nowhere near that, with that being said it’s a great upgrade from stock bulbs...looks wise and brightness wise, also great price for what you get, set of proper led bulbs for stock lights would cost you at least $100 alone, so these are great if you need to replace damaged factory lights since they are so cheap, not sure how they would hold up in the long run, wouldn’t feel too confident with these in cold winters where temperature changes are extreme. Overall great lights for the money, sadly will be returning since the light output at night just doesn’t compare to stock lights with aftermarket led bulbs.

the main Led fog lights are decent, and fit nicely in my 2017 ram1500 had everything installed in under 15mins or less. my only negaitve comment is when i tested the daytime running light it never came on led they never illuminated when hooked up directly to the battery positive. i will do some more testing to figure out the day time running light issue.

I had seen these posted on a RAM Facebook page and liked them for the DRL's. I always have lights on when traveling and like to be more visible - day as night. The DRL is supposed to be connected to an ignition source, but I just connected them to to park light power source. I am happy with that. The lights took about 10 minutes to swap out as everything lines up easily behind the bumper.I have adjusted them down to their limit as the fog lights (if I ever need to use them) is very bright - blinding for oncoming traffic.There must be some differences in RAM bumpers, as the inside row of lights don't have clear line of sight from behind my bumper. The attached photos show this, although it doesn't bother me as the DRL's are visible.Very happy with the finished install.
